The avatar also won't successfully upload if the file is too large (by kilobytes and pixels). Check the instructions on submitting avatars. There should be some on the "edit my profile" page.

Maybe its the file you uploaded. Sometimes my computer's files don't...upload right on this site. xD

Are you uploading or linking?

Lots of times when you upload a new Avatar you must Log Out and Log Back In, The Best Way I found to check if your Avatar is "Working" is to go into the shoutbox and type a quick message. Or Look on the side for the avatar. Sometimes your Profile will "Lie" and say it is working by having you have the ability to veiw it at the top of your Profile. But A Lot of the time it will not actually work. Also another thing as to why your Avatar may not be working is it may be too large/small Sometimes this will happen to your Avatar, Try Copying the size of the avatar from somebody else's post/profile and pasting it as a size comparison to your avatar on a program such as Paint. Resize the photo to be the size as an avatar. Another Solution may be that it is Just a glitch with your account/the website in the area your account is kept in.
