The so called unnatural colors you are trying to fight against that are in the balto movies is what the creators used to represent the breed colors in more of a cartoon way. The 'red' that jenna has, and the purple-ish color of dixie. This isn't the place for this. As we work out rules, don't rile things up here.

We can be original, yes, but if we like collars or if we add a scarf to our wolf, it won't kill anyone. Steet never say anything against that.

There are plenty of places to put up unnatural dogs (Deviantart, Storm-Artists, etc.) Balto Source rules say no unnatural dogs here because in the Balto universe, there is no purple husky or fire-patterned wolf. This isn't Original Character Source, this is Balto Source.

Don't like it? Get a DA account. Steet's site, Steet's rules. That's all it comes down to.

Everyone who reads the character rules should notice that it only says: "Your character must be creative and unique" where does it say that the character has to be realistic?
And even UK´s "Fan-character guide" doesn´t say anything about realism. ( http://www.animationsource.org [...] -is-not-acceptable-t23398.html , you can also find it at the bottom of the character rules)
A necklace doesn´t make a sparkledog. I think accessories should be allowed as long as not the whole character is covered with them (like "leg warmers" + necklaces + etc.) One accessory is enough and should be allowed. For me sparkledogs are characters with bright, eye burning colors (like bright blue + green, pink and such) Characters should be pleasing for the eyes, and a simple nechlace or greyish-blue (not bright blue!) markings doesn´t affect the one who looks at it to be hostile to it. (bright colors do, at least to me) Not to mention that Jenna Kodi and the other pups are sparkle-dogs too.... Why are they allowed?
So creativity shouldn´t be banned from this site. Can anyone remember the time where the mods wheren´t that intolerant? The time we where ALLOWED to be creative? Even without these unwritten rules people created esthetic characters. Not everyone is a sparkle-fan.
It´s good that characters should have a complete bio now. That´s a good rule But almost every other rule is unneccessary or intolerant. I think steet created this site for people to have fun and be creative and now the mods seem to take our creativity, crumble it up and burn it.
And one thing: Every character created oin here is completely fictional, we made them up with our imagination, so there not only ONE "real" character on here. So what now? Deactivating and deleting ALL characters? Ban the "fan-character" section off this site? Well, mods, then you´ll have a lot of work, and caused a lot of people, who are the reason for this site to exsist, to leave. Is that neccessary? Look, we don´t ask for much, just give us our creativity back!

People are leaving the site because it became unfair, and it's really sad because this site is amazing. I hope the problem will be settled soon.
And more than originality, the english side of the site asked "real" characters... It's necessary to be more tolerant!
