I highly doubt this site will allow swearing for any type of fanfic. This site is very strict when it comes to swearing. I don't see why they would allow swearing in fanfics if it's definatly not allowed anywhere else on the site.

it depends on wich bad words you use i may be wrong but R rated fan fics are almost never passed for 'reasons' i have a pg 13 fanfic with a few curse words and it was allowed so i would say for PG-13 kepp the swearing to a minimul yes you can do it but i don't believe you can have F bombs scattered all around he fan fiction.

swearing is using bad words? well i think depending on how much words do ya use, try doing it only when is necessary

I, personally, don't like any kind of searing, even if it's the "not so bad" words. Really, who is gonna draw that line? I would prefer that the authors give you a warning ahead of time before you read it, simply as an act of curtisesy to those people like me. And keep in mind that there are bound to be people who shouldn't be able to read some fanfics, age-wise, but do anyway. So, basically, I think it's curtious to give a warning ahead of time if ANY swearing is present. Hope this helps!

well,i`ve seen many PG and PG-13 fan fics with a slight amount of swearing in it,but at the same time people ask this question and everyone says no,you can`t. so really,im thinking that if it`s not a lot and it`s not like REALLY BAD swearing,then i guess yes,it`s allowed. i could be wrong,so please correct me if i am,but don`t yell at me,i don`t like being yelled at,and i sometimes yell back. hope this helps Painterdoodle^^
