I`m thinking of making a fanfic called "If Jenna Came" about what Balto 1 would have been like if Jenna hasn`t gotten hurt by the bear and went with Balto to find the sled team. The thing is, It`s not a little one-shot and it should have chapters or whatever.

 

Can I add more to the story as I go along, or do I have to do it in "parts."

You can do it either way. If it's taking longer than you want to write it, but you want your readers to see what you've written so far, then I'd suggest posting one or two chapters at a time. But if it's completely done, go ahead and post it all at once.
