IWolf => Steele has never been in "early drafts" of WoC. Phil Weinstein (the director) only said that he liked the idea personnally, but he wasn't a writer on this project.

No one really knows for sure what happened to him. In early drafts of Wings of Change, Steele was present and that may have explained what happened to him, but his role was cut and instead we got......... Stella

Many people have written fanfics about what might have happened to him after the end of the first movie (including myself, in my fic "A Second Chance") and everyone seems to have their own different theory on his fate. In short, what happened to him is up to whoever wants to write about him.

i think that when Steele lost all reason to be in balto then they
cut him out of the other two films because it would'nt make
sence for him to be in the other films and to be honest Steele
could hav bumped into Kodi in 1 of the movies and when finding
out that hes balto 's son become angry. If you want u can use this idea for a fanfict

Nobody knows. In the sequels, he seems to vanish with no trace he was ever there.

There are several reasons why this could be. The biggest one being 2 and 3 were made by an entirely different team. But there's also the possibility that he served his purpose in the plot in 1 and had no place in later sequels or they just simply couldn't come up with something to do with his character and axed him.

I think, and this is just a theroy, when his popularety went down that was the artists way of telling us he gone! but thats just what i think!
