Hey there!

This is a collaboration for all members of Balto Source to join!

This collaboration is going to be of canon characters from all three Balto movies. Background characters are also allowed, but its going to be focused on the main or named characters.

What you need to do to enter

Simply comment here asking for a character and I'll reply telling you if you were able to get it. This collab is first come first served, so you don't need to apply or try out to draw a character. Also, if you can't get your character done by the deadline, feel free to drop your character, I'm sure there's someone else willing to take them on!

Rules

1) Characters are first come first served

2) Don't whine or complain if you don't get the character you want, there are plently more to choose from

3) Background or unnamed characters are allowed, so long as you do the canon version and not "your version" of it. For example, instead of drawing "Alaya"  I would draw "the Red-Faced Pup"

4) Only canon character are allowed. No fan characters.

5) There is no set limit on characters, but please don't go overboard. Leave some for the other members

6) When shading, please keep in mind that the light source will be coming down from the top left. Don't add drop shadows, as they will be added later on by me

7) Canvas size should be large, around 1000 - 2000 px both ways (it makes it easier to put together at the end as I work with large canvases)

8) Your image MUST have a transparent background, so that it can go onto a background I will make for the collab

Note: Please choose named characters first, as they are more important than the background characters. Thanks ^^

Since no-one has been taking characters recently, now starts the time that I'll start drawing the leftovers myself, so if anyone really wants to draw a character that hasn't been done (more focusing on the main characters at the moment), don't be afraid to ask if you can pick them up ^^ You can choose more than one if you like, since so far it looks like I'll be drawing quite a few extras. Also a reminder to those who have already picked up a character but haven't submitted yet to send in your entries soon. And its totally fine if you haven't had the time, or it just slipped your mind, I understand :3

Hey everyone, we're so close to getting the main characters finished! If you haven't finished yours yet, don't forget to keep working at it, but take your time if you need to though, don't rush ^^ Also, feel free to grab up a character if they aren't taken yet. I would like to see mostly main characters being taken at the moment but background ones are fine as well. Don't forget you're allowed to take on more than one character. Thanks ^^ Roman Reings Fan: (sorry for the late reply) You just delete the background layer, or just don't include one at all if you are doing it totally digitally (without scanning and drawing by hand). Make sure to draw on a transparent layer

Insane_J inx	July 24, 2013

Aiyana: Thanks! One question, though, how do you make the background transparent?

I'm afraid I haven't gotten very far on my part. I've only got a sketch out of Steele's fan girls :/ I'll try to color it before I leave for summer.
