Other releases

As of June 2017, there have been six releases of Balto within the last five years.  These releases may or may not be something to get excited about, but it's nice to see the films back on the shelves for the younger generation to enjoy.  The films can also be found on services such as iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, and the Sky Network.

Probably the biggest feat the film has seen in recent years is being released on Blu-Ray. While it's great to finally see the film released in HD, people have said the release isn't the greatest. There is no menu, and the film itself hasn't been restored. While the picture does look good, it has simply been up-scaled to 1080p.  That being said, it's still worth the money if you're interested in owning a physical HD copy of the film.

Bellow is a table list of the last six releases.  If you're looking to purchase any of these releases, click on the year release date.

2012	Balto/ Balto II double feature
2013/14	Re-release of the 2002 DVD
2015	Updated Balto cover
2016	Balto II/ Balto III combo pack
2016	Complete DVD set
2017	Balto Blu-Ray
