the female wolf-dog is the "Kiona" mentioned in your last

I know. The funny thing is, I never got around to reading it
(unless you count the Wishbone version when I was about
ten). But I've heard a lot about it. Wasn't "The Man in the
Iron Mask" a sequel to that book?
