His only friends are a beautiful husky named Jenna, two orphaned polar bears, Muk and Luk, and Boris, the Russian goose, and the only father Balto has ever known. When Jenna’s owner Rosy gets sick (along with over half the town) with diphtheria, a sled team is dispatched to bring the precious anti-toxin back to the town, through the awful snowstorm that has blown in. When the team gets lost, it is up to Balto to find them. Will he be successful? Or will he freeze to death in the storm, trying to save a town that doesn’t even like him.

Balto Darkness is by far my “”darkest” FanFic. It follows up with When Love Goes Sour, and features the return of Steele, and another of my villains from Aleu’s past…. the demon wolf Shade. With Shade’s help, Steele is now more able than ever to carry out the only thing he wants than ever… the death of Balto and Jenna. In return, all Shade asks is that Steele kill Aleu as well.
