Wedge I: Rumor Has It
:
“What’re you doing out of you home, house pet?” The dog asked, making sure to stay in the shadows. Wedge felt a tiny flame of anger. Strays always made fun of housedogs; this one was similar to all the others in that way. He tried to think up a good reply.
“Curious about what you chewed up, tick-infested fleabags are up to.”
He inwardly smiled. Nice comeback. The dog did a pretty good job at containing his anger.
“Pathetic little pup. You should know better than being out alone—“
“—It’s bad for your health,” a scraggly voice finished.
Wedge stole a look to the alley’s entrance. His stomach churned. Not one, but five other dogs started skulking towards him. He leveled himself so his back end faced the other end of the alley and began to back up. The dog that had tackled him gave a low chuckle.
“You can’t escape us. Now boys, be easy on him, he’s just a house dog.”
The sounds of chortling and sniggering came from the pack. They broke out into a run. He had no time for the “I’m not looking for any trouble” speech. It was time for him to scram. Wedge made it halfway out of the alley before someone landed on his back, slamming him to the ground.
Second Chances I: The Black Forest Menace
:
The beginning of how The 'Second Chance Acres Gang' came to be. All seems well with the Sherlock and his two companions until a threat from the wolves in the nearby mountains comes to the dogs. The wolves, calling themselves "The Black Forest Pack" threaten that if the dogs come onto their land three times, they'll annihilate them, and Wishbone has already made a big mistake of being caught on the wolves' territory once. They take extra precautions, but with Sherlock and another dog being new, things can slip their minds, and they could wander onto land that spells 'death' if they aren't careful...

Okay, so I didn't like the 'Rebellion' series very much. Instead, I'm typing a series about Kenai, Wedge, The Second Chance Acres Gang, and Aleu. Here are some future fanfics I am yet pondering about:
Key: Red-Done, White-Not up
'Double Dare' -Kenai is a new member on Lauren's team of ten dogs, but everybody seems to hate him. Finally, when he ends up in a heap of trouble, someone proposes a dare to get him out of the fix; but is a dare worth risking your life for?-
'A New Leader 3' -Galeth and his pack build up a strong force to overthrow and take Aleu's now virtually leaderless pack when she's lost. Meanwhile, Aleu brings an injured Shale into unkown territory, along with Flint at her heels, and finds herself some unlikely allies-
'Mis-Adventures In Hughes' -When Texas offers Kenai to show him around, Kenai decides to go along with him, still with half a mind. Texas introduces his two friends to Kenai: a quirky Golden Retriever names Kelsey, and a tom-boy Saluki; Jodi. And when Texas takes them all to a construction site, he stupidly gets himself stuck in an embarrasing situation-
Wedge I: When Life Gives You Lemons...-->The story about Wedge, Carolina, and Evon. It all starts out with a gang of dogs in town that unexpectedly turn on Wedge, and ends with Wedge trying to get them to leave. When Matt is injured from the gang leader, Wedge knows something has to be done.
Second Chances I: Welcome To Second Chance Acres -The beginning of how Tyrone and Robyn came to 'Second Chance Acres'. All seems well with the Tyrone and his two companions until a threat from the wolves in the nearby mountains comes to the dogs. The wolves, calling themselves "The Black Forest Pack" sends threats to the dogs when one of them accidentally wanders out of the Acres and gets into trouble

DO NOT STEAL MY IDEAS.
If you have any ideas for a story, please tell me (either by PM or comment)! And yes, you can draw and render my characters as long as they aren't in any gory or inapropriate things, just tell me that you did--I'd love to see them!

Your "A New Leader" series has a good foundation, and I was pleased to see that there is no gory violence in it. Certainly, using limited violence can be an effective story-telling tool, but the bloody, gory and savage stuff often used by others on this site is really irritating and depressing. But your storyline here has a good foundation for a larger, continuing storyline (even with the minor spelling and colloquial errors...heh heh). And you seem to be headed that way!
As to "Kenai", this one I particularly enjoyed! It appears to be set in the modern age, and not in Nome (and there's no problem there). There is good character development, and the basis for good story development. I am looking forward to seeing your next step with this story!
Good work!
(And thanks for reading my story, "The Passing of Togo"! You're certainly welcome to have a look at the other existing ones!)
