Young Juneau has a mysterious past. He's an orphaned pup, abandoned in Nome at a young age. A kind-hearted canine with a rather mysterious past himself, Balto decides to take the orphan under his wing. While Juneau learns to deal with new friends and enemies, Balto makes a shocking discovery about his charge...one that could jeopardize the pup's chances in Nome, or anywhere...

Take Wing Part Two: The Second Key :

After finding out his heritage, until this point shrouded in mystery, Juneau realizes he has a decision to make. After seeing the wild relatives of his forgotten past, will he stay with them and assume the unexpected role already set out for him? Or will he return to the home he's always known?

Take Wing Part Three: Unexpected Help :

Two more months have passed since Juneau invited Brite to live with the Northern Heights clan. Everything is going well, and Brite has adjusted well to life on the mountain. She's even started to like Juneau a little, and she's pretty sure he likes her too. Then one day, their arch-enemy Cal ventures up the cliffs of their home...straight into disaster! With Juneau away on his first two-week hunting trip, will Brite find the strength to help a cousin in need? Or will their rocky relationship drive them apart? (Note: since I didn't get the copyrights into the second Take Wing fic, the copyrights for both fics are at the end of this one. Also, DOESN'T MAKE SENSE if you haven't read the first two.)

Take Wing Part 4: True Wish :

The last book in the Take Wing Series. As time passes, Juneau and Brite realize that they are meant for each other. After they become mates, their greatest wish is to have children. But when their wish comes true, they realize that an age-old legacy is beginning again...and that the struggle to belong is as hard as ever. How will their only daughter cope? (Doesn't make much sense if you haven't read the rest of the series. Thacia's story will be continued in a different series.)

Steele's Surprise Part Two: Mix-Up :

After discovering Treble's secret, Balto and Jenna hatch a plan to help her (unknowingly) break the news to Steele. But an already fatal mix-up takes a sudden turn for the worse-and it's up the the dynamic duo of Balto and Jenna to fix the problem. Rated G.

As White As Snow - Prologue :

A prologue to a series that I felt like writing. A beautiful, copper-colored mother-to-be wolf is expecting to have perfectly normal pups. Young Eli, a black wolf with an amazing 'sixth sense', is fighting a lost hope that will never be rekindled. From these two springs that story of the legendary Aniu, the white wolf who started the Balto saga. Rated G for mild thematic elements, just to be on the safe side.

Steele's Surprise Part Three: Only Son :

When Steele's mate Treble gives birth to a single, healthy son, the handsome husky is overjoyed. But when young Keenan meets a crimson-colored pup with a famous wolf-dog father, Steele begins to worry. Will he be able to prevent his son from seeing Balto's daughter again? Or is he just pushing Keenan away...something he never meant to do? Rated G. (There is a part 2 to "Only Son" coming soon, so this summary covers both parts.)

Update (November 15, 2008):

I've been having so many ideas for fanfics lately that I'm having to sort out which ones I truly want to continue or even start at all. The Take Wing series will stay on the site (for now), but will be refurbished and eventually re-posted. I feel like I really rushed into those fics and they don't flow very well.

Steele's Surprise Part Three is being put on hold as I re-make the Take Wing series. Also, I might give Take Wing a new name. If anyone has any suggestions for a good name for the series, be sure to let me know via PM. Only suggest names if you have actually read part AT LEAST ONE PART of the series!

Also, here's the link to SilverKia's and my fanfic gallery (Silverditarod), containing the fic A Bitter Heart Needs Tender Love:

*-*_*-*_*-*_*-*_*-*_*-*

On a different note, I WILL NOT tolerate any visual and/or audio gory or sexual misuse of my characters in any way. Furthermore, you must PM me if you want permission to use my characters; this is not an option, and I may or may not choose to let you use them.

Thanks for stopping by, God bless and have a great day!
