Vengeance is mine (I will replay) Do You know my Steele-series (TAoS/TdoN/TaoC)? If You do, that’s good, but forget about those for a while. Now I wish to present You an alternative bio of my favourite (anti)hero. Incoming series of stories shows what would have happened, if Steele didn’t get to Buckland, but before town just turn east to the other side of Yukon Range. I prepared completely different story-line, however bio of Steele from times before B1 is common with version from TAoS (it will be important with Steele parents story). Prologue might seems to be somehow familiar to you;) but read it anyway, because there are some quite important differences. And now the first part: Reach for the Night Ps. So, it seems that Steele left his crave to revenge on Balto. His crippled leg forced him to cease any puller’s activity and oath given to Jenna keeps him appeased. Now he is good boy and quiet mate of Berenice. Is he? For sure? Well, he wanted good, but it happened as usual. Additionally some dramatic events in Nome and random rendezvous made Steele to back to his past. (Third and final part of ViM series)

“Balto’s Boy” is something new for me, because I wrote a metafanfic, i.e. fanstory to fanstory, particularly to Tony Rotramel’s tales. After being huge RTW’s fan, I still feel some lacks in his epic storyline. Because I’m enterprising canine, I decided to write an appendix to it. “Balto’s Boy” is a tale developing some motifs of RTW’s “A broken trust”, “Talkeet Trilogy” and “A Forbidden Love”. To fully enjoy BB You must be aware of plot of those. It’s also good to know general themes of RTW’s stories (esp. Aniu-Shade rivalry and Talbourne-Uniea war). Knowledge about basics social structures of Talbourne clan is also helpful (Warning! In this story I threw away my biological/social assumptions about wolves and took Tony’s ones). Reading BB forget about my original (sic!) fanfics – all characters (except of new ones) are taken from RTW’s stories and showed according to assumptions made there. Do not confuse characters I developed to my normal fanfics and heroes of BB, where I follow Tony’s pawprints. Beech Pack is my creation. Most of other characters are Tony Rotramel/Universal Studio copyrights ! Rating: Strong pg-13, due to dark plot of this story and requirement of reading AFL (that is even more controvelsial). To the setting: Recall “A broken trust” and imagine that Trinea, after falling to her death, managed to give birth to her litter… One of those pups survived and was adopted by a wolfpack. This pup is called Glemt and he is main hero of this tale…

But now for something completely different: HPL-tribute story. Yes, that’s not a joke – I will try to mix Balto-universe with Lovecraftian stylistic (however due to both universes are rather incompatible, treat it as a half-parody). WARNING! This is a tale written as a tribute to Howard Phillips Lovecraft’s reading. Most of ideas are inspired by wirings of “Solitary from Providence”. Do not take them too seriously. All similarities to real places (like Anchorage or Nome) and real persons are made only to keep Balto-feeling and author doesn’t mean to offend anyone. Also similarities to author’s own characters should taken just a joke. I give not age rating on this story, because I suppose that Reader in every age is endangered by sanity loss – if not due to scary atmosphere, surely due to its absurd;) Warning pt.2! If You don't know HPL's writings, that story might seems to be odd and boring. If You know and like HLP's writings, please forgive me my very awkward tries of emulating Master’s style. I’m not born-English-speaker, so stylistic side of project could be really failure, I know that.

YotW is sequel to BB. It’s again story inspired by RTW’s writing, so all requirements mentioned in previous ffic are still valid. After tragedy in Nome, Beech Pack was found by Steele. Malamute decided to turn wolves into unit of assassins on suicide mission of killing Aleu. That’s a hard task, yet not impossible. Especially if Avengers are supported by two Uniea survivors, driven by the same lust for vengeance. Warning! This is the war story. It contains serious dose of violence, exceeding all that You could see in my earlier stories. So read carefully and do don’t befriend with any character;)
