Over the course of a four-day weekend, I delved into some "avant garde" work using a tame and completely legal form of "vision quest" (for a lack of better terms). While alone at home, I decided on sleeping in late and eating nothing but ham sandwiches for lunch and dinner everyday. I also decided to skip lunch the first day (bad idea). Eventually, I realized I was going nowhere with this. I continued anyway. I then decided to investigate "Creepypasta" for inspiration. That was really, *really* bad idea. Onthe third day, in all this isolation and self-inflicted terror, I was inspired to write my newest work based on my experiences of being alone for the longest time I have ever been alone. The moral of the story: "Avant garde sucks and artistic vision quests are overrated."
