Maxwell's life isn't the best a dog could wish for. His parents are dead, he has no known relatives, and he is a half-breed. On the other hand, he has an adoptive family, a town to call home, a job, and Dusty, the love of his life. However, a brutal gang led by a tyrantic commander wants both of them dead, and will stop at nothing to achieve this.

Prequel to Unlawful Vengeance. Maxwell is a young halfwolf living in the wild. Dusty on the other hand is a pup living in Nome. A swipe of the claw changes all that, when Maxwell's parents are murdered. Left to fend for himself, he collapses in a storm. One winter morning, Dusty finds a boy half-buried in the snow, and the chronicle begins.
RATING: UNIVERSAL- Mild word confrontations, mind you not as much violence as the sequel :P

Maxwell is an orphaned wolfdog, who's parents were murdered a long time ago. Adopted by Nome's hero Balto and his mate Jenna, he grows up fast in the town, and his great personality and ability to make friends lets him fit in well. His girlfriend, Dusty, is always there for him, with the two destined to become mates. But underneath all this, everything is bubbling up. When he is discovered alive by his parent's murderers, he and Dusty are both now wanted dead by a sadistic wolf-commander. Will their love let them both pass through the struggle alive?

I've read both parts of the Maxwell series and they're very good. They
are probably my 2nd favorite series (1st being the "Chronicle of
Rallan" trilogy). I would suggest seperating your long paragraphs into
shorter ones. Also, when you have your characters speak, seperate the
dialogue. This are suggestions to make your fanfics better. But they
are good. FAVS. |
