The Kodi-Dusty thing is maybe not canon, though that has never truly been resolved one way or the other...and fans each have their take on it as you know. I did find yours interesting. Though I wouldn't have introduced Kodi to the team the way you did (nevertheless, it was very well done!).
And I certainly like the surprise at the ending! I am definitely going to read the short follow-up, and anticipate more, as I see you are planning that. Will add you to my faves too!
