The name's Harper, and yeah, I do have a character named after myself. Why? Not sure, just ended up that way. I've got 3 dogs, all of which are herding breed rescues, I compete in USDAA & NADAC with two, Scream (Short haired Border Collie) and Kai (German Shepherd/BC mix), however Kai is on a low activity level due to hip dysplasia, and has been retired. My other dog is a corgi mutt that got picked up from Tulsa, and has just stayed around ever since. She's 13.

I myself haven't drawn anything balto-ey for a while, my interests have gradually grown elsewhere, however from time to time I do draw, and just format the pictures into balto characters, seeing as I have a lack of them, here. I use a regular old pen & pencil for most of my artwork, nothing really fancy. For the few times I draw digitally (Which are pretty much the only images uploaded due to lack of scanner) I use a wacom intuos3 tablet & photoshop CS3, however if you're a new, novice artist, don't get 'em. yeah, they're cool and such, but they're a pain in the behind and really aren't much better for drawing than paint. Plus, people tend to hold alot higher admiration for artists who can draw super well with a mouse & paint than someone with a tablet and some fancy program. Just my experience (;

I am open for commissions; we can discuss prices through PM if you want. I'm also open for trades, that would also require some PM/Comment chat. Just be warned that I do take a few hours to draw something simply because of all the tremendous effort I like to put into things, but I don't have hours blocked together that I can use, so it may take a bit to finish up my piece of the trade.

Lets all be cool, here, too, and not rip off some work. I do agree, some of the older stuff isn't too hot, but that's no excuse to take it, it's not yours. If you want to reference something, shoot me a message, I'm a generally kind person, I'll probably let you do it (Don't assume I will, though, sometimes I just don't want my art to be reffed.).
