Hey There, Everyone!

I just want to say thanks for all of your wonderful comments and all the faves- you guys are awesome! I'm really not active here anymore and therefore probably won't be uploading art (unless I do some Balto fan art, but fan art is rare for me nowadays.) thanks! if you want to study how i did my art, that'd be fine. i too have learned stuff from studying how more experienced artists create their art, especially when it comes to 3/4 face views, those are killer! if you're interested, i could recommend a site whose artist has done some nice tutorials and explains confusing concepts very well. also~ photo refs are probably one of the best things to learn from, i collect photos from calendars and the like all the time, and study them quite a bit. i hope my advice helps!

thanks! i did the charcoal one during art class (i was supposed to be doing still life, whoops XD)- twas supposed to be a wolf, but it kinda looks like a cross between a wolf and a fox. oh well. the red one is my avatar on the forums

Thank you! I was looking through the screenshots from the film, and kind of made it up... I colored him the color of the darkened spots then lightned him up in the lighter spots... thanks!!

that sounds great! i'll check out your balto pic in a sec. fyi- i'm gonna (as soon as i get a chance)do a character sheet for the "original" kyrah, with her current design. i still haven't made those improvements i had mentioned... but i'll get to it eventually, and then i'll make a character sheet for the "new and improved" kyrah. i'm glad you liked your pic so much! >oh, and to all tikaani, kiki, and kanga, i haven't forgotten you!

I'll draw your character if you'd like me to... I just found a new shading technique and I improved some of my drawing skills a bit... I just sent a pic of balto that I am actually proud of (That's saying something, for me)!!! It took me two hours... so I won't mind doing something as elaborate for you, for teh wonderful picture you drew for me, I love it so much!!

thanks- i'm not really that good, but i'm always working to improve, that's why i ask so many questions! to answer your question, harley, i don't typically draw on the computer (usually i just use good ol' pencils & inks), but if i do draw on computer i typically use adobe photoshop or adobe illustrator, and once in a great while microsoft paint. when i color stuff on the computer, i use photoshop.

thanks, but i'm hoping to improve even more than i have since i began my gallery!^_^ You don't have to "repay" me, i really had fun doing your pic, but if you'd like to, i have several pics of my fursona (Kyrahlin) that could be used as refs. i am, however, changing the facial markings, but i haven't figured out a design yet. so, if you want to, you can do her how she is now, or you could wait until i've got her new design finished. that'll prbably be quite awhile, though...

It is so nice, it has to be one of teh best ones I have. I'd just like to do something for you, when I finally am able to work on sme art again. update: yes it's sad, i know, but i no longer take requests. i will finish all of the ones i received before now, but requests just take up too much of what little free time i have, sorry. I do art trades, though.
