Basically, this is an open casting call for The Balto 4 Fan Project, now with an official name: Balto IV: Road To Redemption.
Project timetable is as follows:

Here's a possible calendar: Script completion: 5/30/10

Storyboard completion: 8/30/10

Voice recording completion: 9/30/10

Animatic and layout completion: 11/30/10

Tweaks and final layout completion: 12/30/10

Animation start date: 1/1/11

Animation end date: 3/30/12

Tweaks, effects, and polish completion: 6/30/12

In case we run into any delays, the deadline is the same as the project itself: 1/1/2013. As we have not yet begun voice recordings yet, all characters are available for audition.

This sounds like an exciting and huge undertaking. I know I'm a little late for this project, I just joined this site yesterday and have enjoyed it thus far. Before I tried out I just wanted to make sure that you still needed voice actors. Hit me back if ya have room, if you don't I totally understand. This is an awesome idea! Anyway good luck-Adargo

Hello new to the site but Balto has always been my favorite movie right next to The Fox and the Hound. Just a suggestion for after you are done with this film and I know that will take a while, but have you thought of making a Balto inbetween 1 and 2 going back to facts. You know maybe have Balto toured all around America then sold with the rest of his team (maybe even Steel) to an abusive owner. Than add the fiction and have Balto go on his biggest journey yet traveling across america to get back home. Just a suggestion and would like to see others opinions so a little thumbs up or thumbs down thanks if you sat around to read all this.

Aside from making some revisions, the scripting is just about complete.
