More natural but not typically colours or patterns you'd really find on an actual animal of that species.

A sparkle character is covered in neon colours, neon pink, red, green yellow, blue etc. They also usually have funny looking tatoos or something, and are completely blinding with colour.

Unrealistic characters have either unrealistic markings (what you wouldn't find on a real life wolf), or have an odd base colour, like a tint of purple, pink, red etc but are not neon.

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't quite understand...what's the difference between a SPARKLE character and an UNREALISTIC design?

Sparkledogs ruin the quality of the site, so I don't have sympathy when people say "it limits us", well guess what, you're limiting the potential of actually GOOD characters with sparkledogs.

I personally think, that the only problem this site has is with the sparkledogs. I don't really think you need to take down the unrealistic characters. But that's just MY opinion, & hopefully I didn't make a mistake by commenting my thoughts.

The AS sites are FAN sites, until there's a movie made about sparkledogs that gets a movie, they don't belong.

This place isn't somewhere to upload any old character you just feel like making, they should be FAN characters. Not OCs.

Copycat: Fantasy creatures (including sparkledogs) are not creative. They are obnoxious. What the makers of Balto did when they made Jenna and Dixie such colors was creative, not obnoxious. Balto was a kids' movie, and thus they had to make characters that would attract a child and engage their curiosity. But, they kept the designs (very different from the colors) realistic, and all other characters are perfectly believable. Being able to stay within the boundaries of realism, and avoid "sparkledogs" like they did shows talent and skill. Throwing a neon pink on a dog and calling it "Peppermint" is not creative, it's ridiculous. We are a fan-site, meant for fans who appreciate the quality that went into the movies, especially versus other of that same time. And as such, we are obliged to contribute something of quality to the site that we are members of. Obnoxious? No. Creative? Quality? Absolutely yes.

Mighty: While I do see that there have been instances where rules were proclaimed without steet's approval, your comments and demand were a bit harsh. There is always a respectful way to say something with out it sounding like a demand or hate (I'm not saying that your comments were that bad in any means, though they did sound harsh.)

Copycat- You could put it like that. But we are restoring the site. What do sparkles have anything to do with realistic films? And we are only constricting you a bit. There are many great realistic designs you can make.

Constricting us? Sparkles DO NOT belong here. Never have never will. The amount of complaining about them was ridiculous, so the mods banned them with permission from Steet. Proof would be reassuring, it always is, but we are not going to get proof. Under these circumstances, I don't see the need for it.

You can't win, can you? Sparkles allowed, lots of Anti-Sparkle rants and complaining, sparkles banned, then, more complaining for their rights to belong here. Once upon a time this site was made to dedicate a hero and the movies of him, Balto.

Copycat- Sparkles weren't even allowed when this site first started, it was later added on, but now that Steet said that we can ban them. We have, these sites aren't meant for magical colorful creatures.

I don't entirely agree with prohibiting sparkledogs because there is a filter there so you can elect not to see them if you choose. But I'm not going to make a huge fuss over it either way.
