Balto - Sein größtes Abenteuer

Written by steet :

Balto 3 will be released today in Germany, under the title Balto - Sein größtes Abenteuer (His Biggest Adventure). As I said in the previous news, I would like that you don't reveal anything about the movie, no spoilers on my site please (except for the ones I put in the special section *spoilers*, of course... :p )
If there are some italian visitors here, they might be interested to know that Balto 3 will be shown in national premiere on October 11 in the UCI Cinemas Marconi in Roma (I'm not sure if it will only be for journalists, though)
There are new release dates for Spain, Poland and Denmark. Check the B3 page for more information. Still no UK date, and for the moment, the IMDB.com only says 2005 for the USA. And, because you're worth it, here are some little pictures from the new Balto. I don't think it will spoil you anything... (don't try to click on them to enlarge them : you can't!) Is it just me, or is it getting better and better?

Oh, I almost forgot an important thing : remember the Tigre Italia contest? Then, a mini-site for Balto 3 has opened for this contest. There's nothing really original, no new screenshots, but there's an interesting flash game that can be played. You've got to make Duke's plane go as far as possible until it crashes... (use the space bar) And don't worry, whatever you do, it will crash lol! You'll find the site HERE!

Finally, and even if the counter is really not accurate, the 10.000 visits on the english mirror has been breaked! Thanks to all the visitors ;)

Sorry if I didn't answer to your post Epesi, but I didn't want to read that until I see the movie. Now that I've seen it, I have to pretty much agree with what you said, you'll see that in my review ;)

Eerk, how'd that get double posted? o.O Um, oops. Naturally, it had to be one of my hideously long posts that got doubled. :P

Yes!! Mine came in the mail today. :D I had it pre-ordered from Amazon.de. I just finished watching it, and what can I say? I love it! First of all, I wish they'd release a soundtrack, because I love the music. The score was very good, but the songs, in my humble opinion, are excellent! The animation was, indeed, much improved since Wolf Quest, though there were a few "throw backs," so to speak. Not much to really complain about, though Muk and Luk shifted around a bit in terms of size and design. As for the writing, I felt there were a few awkward lines, but the vast majority was great, and the performances were mostly top notch. Balto's voice is a bit lower and grittier, I think, but I liked it, and Boris seemed less strained than in Wolf Quest. This is all for the English version, of course, as I haven't listened to any of the others yet, so I can't judge their performances. Anyway, I'll try to keep from rambling as much as possible here, but I think I can say a couple of things without spoiling anything. One, there will be a few small surprises, in regards to the previous movies. Little things here and there which fans will recognize. Two, (and this might be shaky ground, so I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler; if it does, I'm very very sorry!) there is a good reason for the presence of Muk and Luk. Speaking of the bears, I'm inclined to think that Muk's voice is changing, though he doesn't look much older. ;) Anyway, that's all I can think of to say right now, as the euphoria of seeing the movie has not quite worn off yet, and I'm sort of in a daze. :) Anyway, PowerDVD seems to have a rather stupid stance on switching regions; you can only do it a certain number of times! After that it presumably locks on whichever region you used last, so at that point you can -only- watch that type. Or at least, that's how I understand it. Or rather, I don't understand it. :P So anyway, I'm going to have to think carefully and take all the screenshots I want soon, before switching it back to Region 1. Oi. But this is better than nothing, and hopefully it will tide me over until the US release...or perhaps Australia... ;)

In fact, I know that the info comes from from users, and I was thinking that anyone could have posted this date. But, there are also information on this page that I doubt someone who don't work for Universal would know (like the budget put into it and the name of the female goose) Anyway, thanks for telling it was you who gave this date, but that's not a big error, I don't think it will come out before 2005 in the US. If it was the case, then they would have given a date like the recent one for LBT 11 (which comes on january 2005 BTW)

"Still no UK date, and for the moment, the IMDB.com only says 2005 for the USA." Uh, steet? Like I said before, *I* submitted all that info to the IMDb (as my IMDb username, Karakul). The site is not a be-all and end-all official source for films... it's a user-informed site. Users submit new titles (or additions to existing titles) and the IMDb confirms the titles and adds them to the database. Sometimes an entry will be deleted altogether if it proves to be fake. So, the IMDb isn't infallible. And the only reason it says "2005" for the U.S. is because I *submitted* that info. Like you, I don't know when it'll come out in the U.S. (or the U.K. for that matter) but I simply guessed that it'll be sometime next year. ~_^

Yes, but this counter lies : the real number would be something like the half (5000). But added to the french mirror, the number would be nearly 10000, so it's not a big lie.

Wow! 10,000 in such a short time. It took me almost 1 year before I reached that. Congrats! Awesome job on getting those small clips of the screenshots. At least Jenna is in there. :p The backgrounds look better than in wq too.
