Steet, Draco--> Actually, I had/have an idea about that (which I'm planning on implementing on my fanfics). In the "fanfic information" box which lets you put in the rating, title and description, we could require that all characters in the fanfic/chapter be listed the description box, to make it easier for the moderators to search, since you can't use the normal system. Also, the owners of characters could put links to fanfiction(s) that each character is in.

The fan characters must be used in fan creations, this is a rule that has been in the section ever since it was created.
I have only said that manual deactivation will be difficult to handle, but that doesn't change the fact that this rule IS a rule I have decided.

Pointed/writer--> the fanart/images are updated a good few times every day, so it should be up before the deadline time. It will most likely start after all the submissions are accepted and posted around 12. But try to get it in as soon as you can. If your character is deactivated, just send in your picture, then pm a fanart/images mod to reactivate it. Just remember the fanart/images rules need to be respected. No sloppy renders or linearts, and you need to state original copyrights. And lastly and most importantly, don't steal.

What happens if we posted an image of a character and it is not vaidated in time?

If someone is currently working on fan art/fiction/image ect, involving the fan character, will the character still be deactivated if the art/story/image is not finished before the deadline?

Steet -> that's because it's already a rule, we didn't add anything new, and for this I didn't ask you anything. But since that rule has been ignored for so long, I thought it would be better to inform the mods before doing it.

Mmm, you didn't ask me before doing this. But maybe you're right, maybe it's time to start cleaning the section.

The only thing worrying me is that there's not way to declare that you "use" a character in fanfics, so I wouldn't be able to automatically deactivate unused characters (as I planned to)
