Universal is going to release a dvd pack with the three films :
The pack's release date is 6th November 2007, for only 20$ - which seems to be an appropriate price. Only for the USA for now (there's a similar pack in Australia too, that was released several months ago)
At least! They didn't release anything about Balto in the USA since the release of Balto 3 two years ago. This isn't much but it's definitely a step in the right way. If you don't have these films on dvd yet, I say go for it!
I've made a lot of changes on the site too. Most changes are invisible to you - but they allow me to manage the site more automatically and easily, so that I may consider making other sites in the future.
Changes included are :
- Added support for PNG format for all the images you can send (fanarts, fanfics, etc...) and added GIF for the parts that didn't support it.
- Added something to prevent sending gamebooks with less than 10 pages.
- Added a "sketcher" on the fanarts : you can now draw directly on the site!
- Added a "404 error" message page
- Corrected a BIG nasty bug : some people said that they lost their profiles sometimes. Well, I think I've found the problem : every once in a while, a new account would be created while there was already one on the site. This bug only affected the site profile, not the forums, so you could still see your PMs and all, but your galleries and profile would be lost. I'm not exactly sure why it only occured for some people, but now I've done something to not let it happen again.
- In the same kind, corrected a big problem with the french members connecting on accounts from english members...
- Removed display of "unread messages" warning on the forums

a red line! Same with "Balto". It's a part of the BS
vocabulary! either way, the Balto inclusion in that DVD
is definitely a move in the right way. Might gain more Balto
fans through that, hopefully.
paws on the Balto trilogy pack yet since I actually haven't
seen it around, but I'll look on eBay. I've only got LBT and
Balto on VHS (Balto original release, LBT looks like it's
been taped onto the end of LBT4), but I've never seen
American Tail, maybe that's another DVD I'll get. It's a
small step but it's still a step.
And I'm glad
about the PM thing, that was a bit confusing. But I still
have a bug on my gallery Steet - all of the pics in my
gallery after the Nova fountain one won't delete. Mods have
tried to delete the Nova fountain (number 40) one twice and
it still hasn't been deleted. It's just a problem as I sent
one uncropped and I haven't been able to delete it.
Otherwise, PNG!! YES!! Best format ever, low filesize,
high quality. Thanks =D

Stores Before (Like Beethoven II and an American Tail
Sequel) so there's a good chace they'll be distributed well,
but really these kinds of DVDs are the ones you see
advertised on the back of Cereal boxes that you can win if
you send in enough labels XD Not that that's a bad thing
format for ages. I usually only use PNG when isend to other
sites and had to save another file in jpeg to send here
hmmm.
And I'd noticed the sketcher things some time
ago then it just...dissapeared o.O So...I can't find it
anywhere now; maybe it's just me.

going to be a Balto DVD out. Maybe Universal might release a
similar DVD, but with all Balto movies on it (that'll be
the day BS goes nuts, )

it wasn't April first. That's great news! And a big step,
as you said - at least they're trying and the film will once
again be out there, and be more noticeable with these other
favorites!!! Way to go Universal!!!!
