Balto Source news
5 years of the Source

Written by steet :

Five years ago, I was sending the very first version of the site online.

At that time, Wings of Change was still in rumor state, and the site was only available in french.
The site was only 2 MB (instead of 30 GB currently...), registration wasn't even possible, I was eager to receiving any email from the fans, and the site pages style had a horrible yellow border.

Pic of the site after the creation of the english side

I surely didn't expect the site to grow that much - but now, it's time to celebrate!

It's great to hear that this project is still going into 5 years, and on to more :) I know that it really helped a lot of people learn that they really enjoyed drawing, and it has been a nice fan site for the animated film.

I know that I do not come here nearly as much as I used to (the site was, about, my *reason* for coming onto the computer at all :) ). But I still see it growing, as I continue to hop on every now and then ^^

Congrats on the five year birthday! And congrats on all your hard work, Steet,

~Koey

Happy b-day Baltosource! I remember when it looked like that Steet ^.^ ...in fact, I remember when there was nothing in the fanfic section... fact... there may not have even been one at first lol. You've done a great job as webmaster, and this magnificent site and community are a testement to your hard work. Thanks Steet. You'll never truly know how much this site has meant to me over the years... - Tony (RTW)
