I've been wanting to revamp the fan galleries for years, and I've started with the articles! (Believe it or not, there are more than 500 articles on Animation Source!)
Now, each article has a thumbnail. It makes it much easier on the eye. Take a look!
I've also improved the "Similar articles" part (which now include articles from other Animation Source sites), as well as the interface buttons :
The article texts and send system have also been improved. Images are now automatically retrieved from their remote locations, resized to fit on screen, and hosted on the Animation Source server in order to make sure they never get broken.
Of course, it's too late for quite a large number of articles which lost their pictures and have broken links. The system now hides these broken images and links from the visitors view, but are still visible to moderators and the articles creators so they can fix them.
So we'll need to "clean" the articles section, by fixing the broken articles (adding back the missing images/links or find replacements) and deactivating the bad articles and the ones that can't be fixed.
I'd like to offer an opportunity! If you're interested in helping to "clean" the articles, contact me! :)

I also see the call to help is a bit old, but the Spirit Source still
needs a lot of cleanup! I would love to help, as I help manage and add
to the horse game database, and love archiving Spirit! I have so many
unarchived merch items! |

I know this call for help dates back to 2016, but I noticed the few
articles on the Spirit Source still have to be "cleaned". At least, it
looks like it. The layout is a bit off and most of the articles are
missing pictures. And there are still some spelling mistakes that need
to be corrected. If still needed, I'd love to help out on the Spirit
Source! |

Blazetail => Yes, this is for the extreme cases (the obvious ones).
And if no one commented, there are chances it didn't interest anyone
(but not always, sometimes it can be an article posted on a not
popular site) |

i think " - If an article seems really uninteresting, and it's not popular (no comments) then you may deactivate it." shouldnt be a thing (bad quality - yes) as interesting is down to the person, and some members might like reading a topic but not comment |
