Persona: Elijah is like the typical shy school boy who gets picked on by jocks. Hes very sweet and gentle but will stand his ground and defend his self and other. Elijah avoids getting agressive because he doesn't want any of his inner wolf to come out. Elijah's life experiences slowly changes him from being the shy frial runt to a strong confident team leader.

Likes: being on a sled team, Iki, his family, and chasing birds

Dislikes: Steele, being picked on, and being called a half breed

History: Elijah was born into Balto and Jenna's 3rd litter of pups, he was known to his parents as Meeko the runt of the litter. He was also the one who looked more wolf, which made it a bit difficult finding him a home. He was small and frail looking, his scruffy fur made him look as if he was a full wolf. He did eventually find a home with some dogs on a sled team, that's where he met his best friend Iki. Iki was a lot like Elijah, the two were small and were picked on by their team leader, Steele. Elijah and Steele didn't get along the most because of Steele's deep hatered for Balto, Steele would constantly bully him and poor Elijah would have to put up with it. If he were to get into a fight with Steele his master would remove him from the team thinking Elijah had too much wolf i him, so he would just foucus on pulling the sled with Iki. Being a sled dog brought a lot of attention to Elijah, especially from all the girls who would kill to be one of the team's girl. Steele got most of the attention since he was the lead dog, but whenever a girl showed Elijah attention he stutter and blush shyly. He didn't really know how to talk to girls which wasn't easy since Iki would send them his way most of the time. So he would jus wander off to visit his father and mother, he enoyed seeing them and his older siblings. One night Elijah and Iki we're walking back home when Steele and some other dogs jumped them and roughed them up badly. Elijah and Iki had to be removed from the team because their master thought that they had gotten into a fight with each other. The two where bought by another musher who used them on his mail sled team, they did a lot of runs but Elijah didn't mind the work and he on occasion saw his older brother Kodi from his parents first litter. He looked up to Kodi a little bit and Kodi helped Elijah be more confident in his self. Sadly, Elijah and Iki were brought back to Steele's team when their old musher needed a strong and fast team to deliver suppies to a twon that was hit by a savear blizzard. The team was doing fine on their run untill the team crossed a frozen river. Steele, Iki, Elijah and one of their team mates had just gotten onto land when the ice gave way and their master and part of their team fell trough the ice. Elijah and the other tem mate were dragged into the water and would have been swept away with the current if Iki had not pulled them to shore. As the four re-grouped they had realized the harsh reality that their master and team mates had been swept away by the rushing water, Steele began to panic and started yelling at the three fellow surviors. Elijah yelled at him to shut up, that panicing wouldn't help them in any way. Steele didn't take kindly to Elijah barking at him and tried to attack him when Elijah turned his back, thankfully Iki and the other team mate saw things Elijah's way and stopped Steele before he could attack him. Elijah told Steele he'd have to deal with him being in charge or find his own way back home, Steele reluctaly agreed to the terms and the four becan to back track their way home. Elijah felt like a lead dog, a pack leader, his team mates depended on him and he wasn't going to let them down, even if Steele would whine and criticize him. But the criticism was shortly lived whe the group encountered a large mountain lion, Elijah would've normally ran from a situation like this but he knew he had to protect the others. He stared down the mountain lion snarling and barking at it, Iki and the others fallowed along till the mountain lion backed down. They we're shocked it actually worked and quickly continued their journey before something bigger comes along. After traveling for two weeks of walking endlessly and fighting off more animals, the exhausted four found themselves outside Nome, Elijah lead them back into town where the towns people looked at them at disbelief. They couldn't believe that the four dogs survived and made it all the way back on their own. All the dogs in the town saw Elijah as a hero for getting his team mates back home. After seeing how brave and strong Elijah was his new master made Elijah his new lead dog, with Iki at his side the two lead their team everywhere and made sure everyone came home.
