(old character) :)
Name: Chill
Gender: Female
Age: 3 years old
Breed: Wolf
Personality: Chill used to be very loud, outgoing, friendly, sociable, funny, and hyper. But after she got her heart broken, she was constantly quiet, moody, and always seemed upset about something. She is still a great hunter and an expert at fighting, but she may sometimes seem emo. If you are good friends with her, or if she trusts you, she can be very nice, forgiving, playful, chatty and funny, but she is still pretty quiet most of the time.
History: No one knows where Chill came from or where she was born, and neither does Chill. All she knows is that she was lost when she was 5 or 6 months old, and an elderly husky took care of her when she wandered into the town of Nome. When she got a little older, she spotted a black and white husky, who was only a little older than her. She thought he was pretty cute, so she went to talk to him.
He introduced himself as Steele, and from the way he acted, Chill immediately knew he was flirty. She didn't mind though. They talked for awhile, until they were interrupted by another dog coming up to them. "Hi, Steele!" She barked, looking bright, then she noticed Chill. "Uh....what is THAT?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Chill narrowed her eyes. The dog was dark red with creamy colored undersides and legs, and her eyes were a dazzling chocolate brown.
Steele acted a little strange. "I don't know Jenna...she just came up and started chewing on my leg." He said, glaring at Chill. Chill was taken aback. At first he had acted friendly(and flirty) and now he was making things up about her. And what did he mean by 'chewing on his leg'? The dog, so-called Jenna, scoffed at her. "Wait a minute....shes a wolf! Yuck!" Jenna ran off, with Steele right behind her. Feeling hurt, Chill left.
When she got older, she left the elderly husky and went to the outskirts of Nome. Her fur was now no longer fluffy and sticking out, and her white and red fur was shiny and smooth. Despite the way Steele had treated her before, she found herself liking him even more. One day, Jenna cornered her in one of the allies. Jenna was smaller than Chill, so she knew if Jenna wanted a fight, she could beat the red husky up easily.
Instead of fighting, though, Jenna started talking. "Hey, Chill....I heard Steele talking to his buddies this morning. He said that he had fallen in love with a beautiful female named Chill. I know how much you like him, Chill, and he likes you too. He is going to be in the boiler room tonight, you should tell him that you love him there." Jenna winked, and strolled off. Chill couldn't believe her ears. What?! She thought. Jenna sounded like she had been lying, the way she was talking. Plus, Jenna loved Steele, and it looked like Steele did too. Why would Jenna, of all canines, tell her that? She felt an unusual tingle of excitement in her belly though, because what if Jenna was right? It was a small, rare chance that she was right, and Chill decided to go for it.
That night, Chill slipped out of one of the allies and went into the boiler room. She had groomed her pelt to make her look pretty. What surprised Chill was the number of dogs in the boiler room. Besides Steele, there were at least 30 more dogs in the boiler room, including Jenna. Jenna was nearby Steele, only a yard or two away, and her eyes twinkled when she saw Chill come in. Chill paid no attention to Jenna after she spotted the red husky, and rushed up to Steele. The other dogs watched in surprise, their chatting and laughter beginning to quiet down as Chill approached the most popular male in Nome.
"Steele! I heard that you said you loved me. If it's true, I...I just wanted to let you know that I feel the same way about you. I love you, Steele." Chill blurted. The second she said that, all the dogs became as quiet as stones. They stared at Chill, then Steele exploded into laughter. "W-what?! Who the heck said that I ever loved you?! Your a dirty street animal, hahaha!!" Steele shouted, still laughing, a smirk clear on his face. The rest of the dogs started howling in laughter as well. "What were you thinking? Steele doesn't love anyone. He just flirts with all the ladies!" A female dog near Chill whispered. The dog's eyes were sympathetic, but her voice was disbelieving and shocked.
Chill whirled around to face Jenna. "You are such a jerk!" She shouted, getting angrier when Jenna just laughed harder. Chill tackled Jenna and grabbed her by the throat. Blood trickled down Jenna's chest, and the red husky cried out in pain, all signs of laughter gone. Chill didn't even bother to throw Jenna gently. Still crushing Jenna's throat in her jaws, Chill hurled her at the boiler, satisfaction swelling up inside her when Jenna burned her throat and belly from the flames. Chill ran off, finally letting the tears she had held in her eyes fall.
For a year, Chill lived her life as a loner, deep in the forests, and luckily, hundreds of miles away from Nome. Chill had ran for a month, only stopping for a few short breaks, determined to leave Nome behind. The hurt she had felt that day still lingered, and she felt depressed. While she was hunting one day, she got injured by a cougar, because she had accidentally ran into it without noticing it was there. Startled, the cougar scratched her shoulder and ears badly, and rocketed out into the distance. Chill was found by a large group known as the Runaway Wanderers. They helped heal her scratches, then they invited her to join their group. Chill wanted company badly, so she joined them.
