Personality: He is strong willed and independent and has a very determined sort of character; he also is usually competitive. Pat is reliable, loyal and trustworthy and will do anything to help his friends whenever they need it, and often just enjoys cheering people up. He is very sarcastic, and is good at winding the teens up too, because it’s hard to find comebacks at his sarcasm, he’s very fluent in it.

He’s usually very caring and supportive of his friends; he’s more of the team-player type person, whereas the relay team he runs with are glory-hunting individuals. Everyone around him seems to adore him, and the kids just want to be like him when they grow older, this often surprises Pat as he doesn’t really favour himself at all, he just doesn’t realise how inspiring he can be to the other pups. Personally, he doesn’t think he’s anything close to perfect. The pups often will lark about, chasing after him and rolling over, often biting Pat’s tail- he doesn’t seem to mind and loves the kids. On the other hand, the idiotic wolves in his group of the pack often hide behind him as protection from the alpha wolves whenever they’ve gotten into trouble for annoying them.

Pat dislikes most of the idiotic wolves, particularly hating Graeme for the idiot that he is. Graeme and Pat cannot get along, and will often have arguments throughout any conversation, as Graeme will put fire to anything that Pat says. He is friends with nearly everyone, and despite his friends having personalities that are quite annoying, and can be hard to work with on Heidi's sled team, he never tries or even thinks about changing them.

His specific talents are casting his past aside for the sake of others. He can become extremely quiet and often won't talk to anyone for a while, as he's usually contemplating with himself. He sometimes wants to be someone else, and will go to somewhere loud so no one can hear him screaming for help. Pat always finds people that will put him down for not being like them, for being an outsider and not following their way of life, spending time alone by himself. Nobody else knows what it feels like to be him, and despite how much is own character tries to hide it, he knows he's lost and hurt inside- nothing and no one can ever change that. However, he's always encouraged by Shadow to fight them, and when they say he cannot do things, it makes him even more determined to do them. Sometimes, Pat has to fall to realise what he's climbing for, as his past pretty much reminds him that the world thinks he's useless, that his life should have ended ages  ago.

Most of the time, he finds himself trying to fight tears that simply aren't coming, when anything reminds him of his past, he doesn't talk to most people openly, and hates to accept the fact that he is on the edge. His strong will and independency fight this, but when things become too overwhelming, the only thing that calms him is to run. His steady feet have the tendency to fail him, but because he's a champion and he doesn't know it, when he falls he always tries to get back up- even when he can't.

He can hate himself and will sometimes deliberately injure himself because of his uncontrollable fears, as he believes it's his own fault for ending up on the other side of the world to his actual home. He never forgets his parents because his mind seems to be larger and can cope with the worst things, but they do weigh Pat down. As a result, when he runs away he's running because he needs to, because some things can trigger anxiety attacks- things that have only just taken hold. He isn't sensetive because of this, he'll stand up for himself, hoping that wherever his parents are, they'll recognise his face, even with all the tear stains.

He understands others' problems like nobody else, and always tries to be by their side through it, to cheer them up and assure them that everything will be alright. He's the only one that knows Kiara's secrets, the one about her heritage (which Aleu knows) and one about when she was younger, that nobody else knows. She feels she can trust him with her secrets, and he's always there to catch her when she falls.

Because he’s the only hybrid within the pack, he is used to being and talked about because of this. He is prime target for Dan, a self-centred and manipulative alpha wolf who seems to think he and only he matters in the world, and expects people to treat him like he’s a god. Despite this, he tries his best never to doubt himself and hates to be pushed around. Dan thinks he can walk over Pat, but this usually isn’t the case. Pat lashes out at him, he isn’t afraid to fight for himself.

However,  he usually never has the courage to speak his mind even though he can help change things within the pack and anywhere. He’s afraid he’ll say something wrong after being dismissed all his life by everyone, so he’s spent it in silence. Despite this, he won’t let others tame his mind. Pat is all by himself usually, it feels like only he understands what it’s like to live a life like his own. However, because of his nature, he looks beyond his own messed up past for the sake of others, to reassure them that everything will be alright.

Pat is living life in the fast lane but driving through hell at the same time, he doesn't really have a home, and is constantly moving around, so he tries his best never to get attatched to places. Pat knows how to deal with every kind of personality around, and can tell whether he likes some animals in a matter of seconds. He is only ever sarcastic to those he completely hates- such as Graeme or Dan, but he often uses sarcasm to annoy Jack, a kid that he's in charge of looking after, when really he can only just manage to take care of himself.

Overall, Pat believes in himself and trusts his heart, and whenever running a race always focuses on the task ahead of him, as challenges are what he loves. He hates letting anyone down, and when it happens he usually can’t face himself for it, as it could cost the pack a huge amount. As well as being teased, he often has flashbacks which reflect his past, and these can disrupt his mind- and they usually happen at the most important times- sometimes causing him to go blank in the middle of races, which causes great upset in either the team he is part of, or can pull his focus out completely if he's in a race alone. He tries to cast aside these flashbacks, as he's scared to admit that really he’s homesick and always has been.

He also loves to go up on Wind Rock as he prefers to be alone from time to time, and when he does, that’s the place where he always goes, being able to go somewhere without being teased or talked about dismissively, being part of a team, Shadow’s training courses, being encouraged or knowing the belief that others have in him, the feeling that others give

Dislikes: Being called Exile, Hybrid or Outcast, Dan, Fletcher, Fletcher's self centred acts, Not being allowed to compete in races, not knowing who his parents are, and completely in the dark on whether or not his parents are alive or dead, being teased, Kate, being scolded, also he hates being yelled at for something he did not do, and his friends being teased or hurt.

History/Story:

Pat was born in a litter of 8 pups, and therefore has 7 other siblings. The family is a little out-numbered by boys, as there are 7 including Pat himself; meaning only one girl named Layla. His brothers were named Jack, Kodi, Tommy, Max, Splash and Tristan. Pat was the only one who resembled any sign of his mother and would be recognised as a hybrid, but Charlie thought nothing more of it, nor Arizona.

From an early age, it was noticed that Pat was a great deal faster than the others; and this would often annoy the ring leader, Jack, because no matter how hard he tried he just couldn’t keep up. He couldn’t contain his frustration one day, and so decided to kick something lying on the ground with the other pups watching him. They all watched in horror as the object hit a bird’s nest high in the trees which then came crashing to the floor, landing in some sort of earth hole. While the others left, fleeing like chickens, Pat headed straight for the earth hole.

He was faced with what seemed to be a baby scarlet macaw, this confused him entirely. Abruptly, the baby bird began to chirp at him, just like it would have done with the mother. Pat found the whole idea rather amusing, but went to fetch his father anyway. Charlie confirmed that the bird was a newborn child of Jewel, the native scarlet macaw that had lived alongside Charlie for years. Pat decided to cover for his brothers, saying that he just found the bird lying in the hole. When Jewel returned, Pat said that he’d decided to name the bird Coco, Jewel didn’t seem to mind and was rather pleased with the name, Coco himself was also chirping in agreement.

After this, Pat and Coco became good friends, even though they were one of the most unlikely duos. He spent a great deal of time with the baby parrot, and even decided to involve Coco in games with his brothers. As a pup, Pat was the one who didn’t want attention on him, and preferred to be alone without anybody constantly watching him or “looking after” him.

Still in his youngest years, Pat spent a lot of time with his father, roaming around the land. One time, Charlie took Pat to the top of one of the cliff-type rocks in the Outback (similar to Ayer’s Rock), and showed him the view of the land.

“You see that out there?” said Charlie.

“Yeah, it’s…beautiful,” answered Pat, taken aback by the wondrous beauty of Australia’s lands.

There were kangaroos hopping about in great numbers, racing at high speeds across the lands. Pat loved watching the kangaroos run, but he loved joining in with them even more. They didn’t fear him, they simply let him join in with them. However, at this time, he was stood very high above them beside his father.

“I’m the king of this wilderness, the whole of this place is under my control, from the sky down to the sea- and I have total respect for it, kid. It’s not the land I control with the paths it leads, but the land that controls me and there are no paths to lead, instead I go where there is no path and leave a trail.”

“You’re like a king?” said Pat, looking up at his father now.

“Well, I wouldn’t call myself a king or your royal highness or whatever, but the man in charge. The Chief, the Sergeant, the whatever,” laughed Charlie, “This place will be yours one day, but for now you’re the young king with your gold throne.”

“And this rock is my throne, Dad, you find another one,” young Pat laughed, before racing back down to join the kangaroos. Charlie laughed and followed his son, hurrying up beside him. The kangaroos looked at Charlie and knew they were in safe hands, so they continued their run. Charlie picked up the pace as he and Pat raced each other, rather than the kangaroos.

Soon, the kangaroos were following them, as Charlie wasn’t born to follow, and never followed all his life.

“Hey, kid, slow down, I’m more of a fighter than a runner,” said Charlie.

“I get it, you’re the big guy with the muscles who can defeat anyone?” joked Pat.

“Very funny, would you like me to demonstrate?” said Charlie, still laughing.

“No, Dad!” laughed Pat, racing off. Charlie followed behind and pinned his son, pretending to fight. In no time at all, they were both play fighting together. Arizona had come to find them, but she didn’t interrupt their play when she found them, instead, she just smiled. She loved it when Charlie was playing with his pups, she rarely saw him like that. She was used to the Charlie who fought to knock out others, to hurt people- the determined fighter Charlie who was always in trouble.

Pat learnt that the dingoes within the area were also under Charlie’s rules, and there were rarely any rebels- because Charlie at heart had always been one himself. Charlie was an extreme daredevil, always picking fights. Arizona at first wondered how he’d cope looking after the entire land, but he had, and he’d done it well.

Charlie often tried to teach Pat how to fight like him, he wanted Pat to be like him too. Pat did understand how to fight, but he’d usually turn his attention to running again sometimes. Charlie often watched his son run up and down the pretend race track that the eight siblings had made using their paws themselves. He was fast, there wasn’t a doubt about that. Charlie wasn’t sure anymore whether the pup would become a fighter like himself, or a runner- a speedy, clever and sarcastic wolf that could outwit anyone, like his mother, but with traits of his father.

One day, Pat and Coco were out walking when the rocks began to wobble, and the ground beginning to shake. Coco began to get agitated, Pat tried his best to reassure him, looking around for any sign of the danger, but there was none of the sort. Then, he realised he’d missed something that he shouldn’t have, a jeep heading straight towards them, only a few yards away. It was too late to run. The two were seized and thrown into crates, and they began to drive away. Pat began to cry for his dad, repeatedly shouting his name. Charlie heard, and raced after the truck whilst the rest of the family watched in horror.

Charlie chased and chased the truck, shouting all the while. He was desperate, determined and wouldn’t give his son up to anyone. He chased the truck for miles across the lands, through the darker parts of forests. His heart was racing, beating out of his chest. Jewel, Coco’s mother, was flying above him now. He continued on through the forest, until he found the perfect chance- it was now or never.

Charlie was now so close- he could almost touch the jeep. He reached for it, desperate to be with his son and free him. He’d give his own life for anyone, and he’d certainly give it up for Pat’s.

“Dad!” yelled Pat, stood bolt upright in the crate. Coco was agitated, moving around a lot and didn’t want to stay in one position.

However, the rangers were a force within themselves, and the guns were pulled out, Charlie was just shot- somewhere where the bullet would stop him, but not enough to kill him. The rangers didn’t have any intentions to kill him, they didn’t kill animals. Charlie put up a fight, but the force of the bullet was too much, even for him. He was knocked out, and just lay sprawled across the floor.

A single tear ran down Pat’s face, and Coco nuzzled into the hybrid pup. The sight of his father lay there, looking as if almost dead, would remain in Pat’s mind forever.

On the coast of Australia, the rangers lifted the crates and boarded them onto a cargo ship, the ship would take Pat and Coco to their destination, Pat and Coco had no idea where that was.

They found themselves in Asia, at the opening of a zoo. Pat and Coco were put into an enclosure together, but they knew full well that the zoo still wasn’t fully equipped, due to the fact that it wasn’t yet complete or declared officially open. Despite being young; Pat knew how to escape from situations, and would do anything to get out of captivity. This resulted in him finding an escape route, Coco chasing after him when he broke out. Pat ran for his life, yet the rangers were chasing them out. Pat’s heart was racing, beating out of his chest. Coco was flying above him still. He then noticed a large ferry leaving the dock nearby, he changed his course and headed straight for it. He ran up the ramp, and then just jumped. He landed perfectly on the other side, Coco with him. Sure enough, as they did, the ferry pulled out of the dock and didn’t stop. Pat hoped that they were heading home, but then realised he’d made a big mistake. Despite the fact that they had just escaped the zoo, they were now heading into the wrong country.

After a long journey, the ship docked again. The two were both tired and extremely unhappy, Pat blaming himself for the last trip. Enraged, he jumped off the boat and almost forgot Coco, who was a little shaken and was refusing to leave the boat.

“C’mon, we can find our way around,” young Pat reassured the young macaw. Sure enough, Coco flew down to land beside him.

Pat’s only decision was to find a wolf pack as they headed into a National Park. There were many around; it was finding the right one that would be difficult. Whilst deciding, Pat realised the two were in danger again, he could smell a wolf that would surely kill them, just by his scent. One of Tony’s wolves were hiding in the bushes, and Coco could sense this too. Desperately, the two began to run again and headed straight into Warrior Falls territory, which they knew that the other wolf didn’t belong to, and therefore could not exceed the territorial line.

Once in the pack, they were noticed by the leader. As soon as they began to talk, Dogatto could tell they weren’t Americans. Classing them as exiles, he put Pat into the bottom of the pack with the omega wolves. Here, he met Simon, Louis, Dermot, Phillip and many others. He also had brilliant social skills and made friends quickly, especially with the leaders’ newest son, Sam. Almost immediately, Pat and Sam became great friends and were almost inseparable as pups, they would do anything for one another.

The two pups often ventured out to the far beyond where they were supposed to stay- well within the territory according to the leader. The two pups were very different: Sam was destined for greatness, to be a king like his father. The king of the pack- a leader at heart, someone who easily took control of situations and was good at everything almost, and wasn’t afraid to let others know it. On the other hand, Pat was the one afraid of the unknown, the one who didn’t belong. Living on the edge without a home, without a path to lead him, a sarcastic and witty male who was solitary, strong willed and would live as an exile. He would go where there wasn’t a path, and leave a trail.

As teens, Pat was often the one who everyone held responsible for putting the prince in danger, and many times had almost killed him with the dangers that were around.
The two were far out beyond the pack territory one day; Pat was already up high on one of the giant rocks on the outskirts of the wilderness, Sam making his way up it.

“It’s quite hard following you around all the time, we are usually up around and everywhere,” Sam said, he was already developing the king like accent, “We’ve probably explored most of the place.”

“Maybe you should try keeping up more often. You might find it easier,” answered Pat, they were often teasing each other.

“Hilarious,” said Sam, frowning and shaking his head, but stepping further forward than Pat.

Sam was talking for a while, but Pat wasn’t listening, instead, something else had been brought to his attention. He had heard and seen something peculiar, rustling in the bushes. He made his way down towards it slowly, and Sam still hadn’t turned around to notice that he wasn’t there. Pat now just had his head in the bushes, he wasn’t sat on the giant rock anymore but was further below. He could see a very unusual looking bear, and decided to try and make less of himself. However, it was hard for him not to be seen.

“Pat, what on earth are you doing?” asked Sam, turning around to notice that the other wolf was down below, he made himself loud so he could be heard, and Pat did hear him.

“You might wanna come and take a look at this,” said Pat, calling back to Sam.

Sam made his way down to Pat, “If this is another one of your stupid tricks, I assure you I will hand you to my father to put you in the stocks. You know he doesn’t want you here, right?”

“Why do you always insult me like that? I’m telling you, there’s a gorgeous woman waiting on the other side, and I’m telling you, she’s got princess potential,” answered Pat, being sarcastic of course.

“Really?” frowned Sam, “Princess potential, I wonder.”

Pat just shook his head, and moved through the bushes, but then his foot slipped on something. He realised they were on a large hill, and Pat had now tripped over and was rolling down the other side of the hill continuously. Sam made a start and hurried after him. The large unusual bear was now chasing after them, Sam had only just realised that the “gorgeous woman” was in fact the ugly grizzly bear that was now chasing them.

Sam was alongside Pat, who was still rolling down the hill, unable to stop himself. It was hurting indeed, but he felt like bursting out laughing instead. The bear was now hot on their heels, Sam still racing on. Luckily, the two noticed a bear further down, and Pat decided to hold on a little longer, as Sam was shouting to him to hang on.

The two bears found more interest into fight with each other over who’s meal the two teenage wolves were. Pat stopped himself from rolling anymore and sat down instead. Sam just continued walking.

“Pat, you are an idiot,” said Sam, “And you really need to get a hold of that imagination of yours.”

Pat just looked at Sam, smirking at the last part, knowing that Sam was referring to when he’d (Pat) said the ugly bear was a “gorgeous, princess potential woman”.

Again, Pat had almost got them killed, but he’d again saved the prince, and the prince had also saved him in ways alike. They made their way back to the pack territory, Sam heading into the alpha’s cave, but Pat heading back out to a secret passageway deep within another cave. It was a passageway he often found, and when he came to the passageway clearing he saw the creature again, lying awake on a large cliff area that lay within the middle of the sides of the cave.

“I had a feeling you’d return,” said the creature, looking at Pat.

“I did because I felt I needed to. Since you know all, can you tell me the future of the pack, our kingdom?” asked Pat.

“There are parts of the future that aren’t certain for Dogatto’s kingdom yet, but I do know this. Sam cannot rule the kingdom and protect it from all evil, he cannot be the prince he is meant to be alone, he cannot win the battles that are waiting to arrive independently, for your kingdoms fate rests on the hands of a coin, and Samuel is only one half of that coin. The other half- is you.”

Pat left with those last words ringing in his mind, Pat and Sam were always there to put their lives on the line for each other, but it was Pat’s job to protect the prince.

Dogatto considered them Arthur and Merlin, the prince who lead the way of his people (Arthur-Sam) and his faithful servant/sidekick who had been brought up by the healer of the group, who’d been taken away from his parents, arriving in Dogatto’s kingdom.

A few years passed and nothing changed, Pat just continued racing around the territory with Sam, often running away from ladies, which Sam always seemed to catch the attention of. Pat was a little older than Sam, but this didn’t affect their friendship in any way at all. Whenever sled races were held, Pat would watch Sam on his father’s team, but he wasn’t allowed to compete because he wasn’t American, which was a strict nationality rule that Dogatto hated. At this time, Pat would just race down the sideline, looking for any sign of Sam’s team; and then run with them on the home straight- his favourite part of the race.

A few years later, the rule was terminated. Pat was then allowed to compete, and Dogatto used him in races while he had the chance. Pat ran for multiple sled teams, and even competed in solo races in which most he won, but he also lost some. Despite losing a few of these, he was named one of the biggest contenders and targeted by many other competitors. Pat now raced alongside Sam, rather than on the sideline.

Now in his 20’s, it was noticed that Pat had become the favourite with the kids, and he was great with them. He often looks after Heidi’s pups when she and Ant are away, but just in general, whenever it’s play time for the pups they all go off chasing Pat, who often has races with them.

Many a time, the Australian has found himself in many near-death situations to save lives of others, and he remembers all of them, and they do affect him a lot currently and are certain to continue throughout his life. One particular incident saw him saving Sam from an alligator when the wolves travelled further down, risking his life again to save the prince, following everything the creature had said. Pat had raced down the river shore after Sam, before running through the shallows and swimming with desperation towards Sam. He never thought about the fear trying it's best to overcome him. He managed to reach for Sam before he got attacked by the alligator, but the gator got him, and he luckily escaped. The alligator, hurt itself, had dragged Pat under but not bothered to actually eat him, but it had made severe wounds in one of Pat's back legs, and one on his left side. The current became to strong for him, and he attempted to swim but the pain of his wounds forced him to give up, the current took advantage and took him under, yet simultaneously swept him away. Now unconscious and half-drowned, Pat had given up.

Eventually, he washed up on the river bank, still unconscious. The others hurried up the river bank, running towards him. Sam, unharmed, was the first to get there.

"Please, wake up you idiot," he said to Pat, eventhough Pat couldn't hear a word of anything.

"Hold on, I have an idea," said Phillip, and went to get a large grizzly bear to follow him down to the river bank. Everyone was scared at first, but they trusted Phillip and decided that they were in safe hands. Phillip nipped the bear on it's heels. Split seconds later, the bear stood up on two feet, and let out a gigantic roar. Pat's eyes immediately opened, and he let out a shout of surprise.
"Aah!" he breathed loudly, "What the hell. What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me."

During this time, many young males arrived in the pack. There was now a group of girls, which consisted of Kiara, Aleu, Lucy and Cleo. Pat and Kiara became frenemies, always disagreeing with each other whenever possible, but they usually had the same opinions and could laugh with each other. These young males often found Pat as the prime target for whatever reason, but it became clear as competition in sport. Whenever these males began to attention seek or felt sorry for themselves, telling their stories of their “tragic past”, he always seemed to step in and told them to get a grip, but was often scolded by the young males and referred to as “not knowing what it was like”, when he knew more than anyone. One of these particular incidents was with Fletcher, Pat just cannot get along with Fletcher and doesn’t want to, therefore prefers to stay away from him. Being told that he hasn’t lived life the hard way is hard for him, and he finds it stupid that the other males think they can judge him already. The leader sometimes takes the young male’s sides, but Pat gets over it easily enough, he isn’t one to mope over them.

When Shadow came to the pack, he noticed things about Pat that he became fond of the young male for. Shadow often took him competing without telling Dogatto, as at this time Dogatto was more interested in getting Fletcher in the sled team, leaving Pat again as a substitute. Nevertheless, Pat won these races with Shadow and Shadow was happy just to keep the Aussie occupied with something. When he isn’t in the team, he races with them on the sideline.

Pat is often afraid of the unknown; he is the only wolf in the pack that has the occurrence of flashbacks. This can often cause corruption, and they often happen at the worst times- even in the middle of races. Despite this, he pushes on, yet he is afraid his feet could fail him, his legs often begin to tire and his focus gets pulled out. After these events, he usually returns to Wind Rock to be alone, often letting the breeze flow against his fur. Sometimes, he’ll even sit and cry, hoping his father will return and follow every line on Pat’s tear-stained face, but he never does.

He’s often fighting the odds, even though he tries his best to hide all this from everyone else in the pack, he can barely contain a courageous face. Pat will do anything for anyone, and will put his life on the line for anyone. He finds it hard to see the best parts of his life without reflecting on his past, but it’s the others around him that help him pull through, despite being so incredibly homesick.

Pat now struggles to come to terms with his traumatic past and near-death experiences (which are explained thoroughly throughout his bio), suffering from anxiety attacks.

Do not steal this character or use this character without permission (unless for gifts of course XD)

Please, do not cheaply copy any of his history or personality (personality especially), only changing wording up a little and cleverly. It doesn't help you gain praise, and it just makes you look lazy. You're character shouldn't have a personality that is cheaply copied and changed up slightly (yes, I can tell whether or not main points have been taken and developed), because ALL characters are DIFFERENT. Nobody has the same personality. It makes me laugh how thieves change things up to make it look less obvious, but it's not for me. Thank you.
