Breed: Purebred SIberian Husky

Shadow is a purebred who was born in February, 1923 in the town of Nome, Alaska. He can trace his lineage back to some of the first Siberian Huskies that were imported during the Nome Gold Rush. He originally held the position of swing dog but later moved up to lead dog. After the great serum run, Shadow befriended Steele (who had no friends at this point) and Star. Despite Steele acting like a jerk, Shadow still considers him and Star his best friends, and has strived to reform Steele ("It takes a real dog to have the backbone to admit their mistakes."). Steele considers Shadow a friend but does not like the idea of being "helped" because it is woundful to his pride (or what is left of it).

Shadow is of slim build, slightly larger than Balto but smaller than Steele. He is of medium strength, high agility, and high intelligence. Quick witted and sometimes humorous, he follows a strong moral code but also possesses a short temper at times.
