Relation to Balto: Daughter of Balto and Jenna, my version of the red-faced pup.
-General Info-
Name: Naila
Pronunciation: NIGH - lah
Meaning: Made it up :)
Nickname/Alias(es): Nai, Rookie
Race: 3/4 Husky, 1/4 Wolf
Gender: Female
Age: Approximately 2 years
DOB: 1922
Personality/Temperament: Naila was the most dominant of the pups right off the bat. Though she was this way, she did still love her brothers and sisters dearly - even Aleu despite the fact that the girl couldn't stop her blasted howling. She also had the most energy out of her siblings, and she and Aleu would play a great deal together until they wore themselves out. Now that she's grown, she still has a lot of energy but she puts it toward her job and tries to focus. Holly has to reprimand her constantly when she jumps into situations without thinking them through first. She definitely inherited her father's talent for that and his courage as well. Because of this, it's almost surprising that she can also tend to be very sarcastic.

Back Story: The boy who adopted Naila brought her home immediately. At first his father was tempted to tell his son to take her back, but then thought better of it because he realized he needed a dog to help with the police work anyway and having a wolf hybrid would be a strong asset to the force. At this point he didn't realize Naila was a girl and started calling her "Master". He took her to the vet to get her shots and everything and was then promptly informed that his "Master" was a "Mistress" which embarrassed and upset him. He tried to return Naila to Rosie's parents, but his son intervened again, saying that he loved her and giving her the name "Naila". Instead of breaking his son's heart, they adopted her and he began training her as a police dog anyway. A few months later, he and Naila were transferred to New York, so the family packed up and moved there. Naila is continuing her training as a police dog under her new mentor Holly, a German Shepherd.
