Personality: Happy and easy-going but gets easily excited. Although he is not a mean dog, fighting is usually his way of solving things; he also loves to throw his weight around. He's pretty empty-minded and possibly psychotic. It's anyone's guess as to what goes on in his head.

Loves:   Running, burning energy, chewing on things, using his size and weight to get things done, his friends.

Hates:   The lab, the people in the lab, being cooped up.

History: Trigg's parents were brought along with some Dutch immigrants (the breed originates from the Netherlands) who settled in Canada. When their two dogs had Trigg and his siblings, the owners couldn't afford the extra mouths and quickly sold the pups. Trigg was bought by a wealthy family who didn't understand how to treat dogs and as a result, Trigg was often ignored and left cooped up inside the house. When he got older, he got harder to take care of and chewed up everything he could get his teeth on. So once again, he was sold but this time, to a dog fighter. Trigg soon found he was a pretty good fighter and picked up lots of tricks from older dogs. Unfortunately, during a fight, the other dog managed to bite Trigg's face, giving him a horrible scar and distracting him enough to make him lose.

     Trigg wasn't seriously injured, but his owner was so angry at Trigg for losing, he gave the poor dog away to a lab that performed tests on animals, but mostly dogs (since there were so many easy-to-find strays). While he was there, one of the vaccines he was used to test on damaged his vocal cords so he can't bark or talk, but he an snarl and growl (or smaller noises). He also meets a mutt named Ridge who is determined to help everyone escape and stop the lab for good. He later meets Galileo and Pilot.

    When the dogs finally escape, they are taken in by a shelter and all are brought to a farm in the middle of nowhere where they learn to herd cattle. A dog named Loki is already there and later on, Nimbin also is brought to the farm to herd. He also becomes friends with his neighbor Saphrina.
