Name: Kanook
Age: 6-7
Breed: Wolf
Parents/siblings: unknown
Mate: none
Likes: Packmates, running, romping, scouting, a good hunt, playing jokes, making others laugh/smile or relax, napping
Dislikes: being taken advantage of, being disrespected, seeing pack-mates being hurt
Personality: fun-loving, seemingly care-free, but serious when needed, reliable and likes playing little pranks here and there if given the opportunity. Respectful, loyal, intelligent, cunning, but protective
Story: Made friends with Cheveyo after running away from his own pack, joining when he broke away from his own pack with Olathe to start his own, taking beta position. Was the one keeping everyone's hopes up through the tough times.
When the pups were born, Kanook proclaimed himself their unofficial uncle or sorts, babysitting when Cheveyo and Olathe were out hunting or scouting.
Kanook was the one that took on the task of teaching and advising Achak when Cheveyo died, taking his place as alpha with Olathe until Achak was old enough. After helping rescue another wolf from another pack, Faolan, the two became very close, Kanook even thinking of the younger as a son of sorts. When Faolan was killed by Nayati in an act of hate towards Achak, he was down for a while, taking it out on the war that soon ensued between their pack and Nayati's.

Relation to Balto universe: Lives in Achak's pack outside Nome in the forest.
