Birth:   1927 in Nome, Alaska

Breed:   1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Labrador mix

Personality: Humble, obedient, meek, kind, gentle, playful, sweet and has a big heart. He is a pretty good mix of both of his parents. But he can also be a little stubborn but only when it's needed; he would never act stubborn around any of his family or his owners. He's very easy-going, but he's not all sunshine and rainbows... he can get impatient (although it's really rare) and he is protective of his owners but hates to fight.

Loves:   Snow, ice, cold, going for walks, running, helping others, going into the park with Riley, Riley and Sam (his owners), his family.

Hates:   Snobby dogs, mean dogs, when something bad happens to someone, when he lets someone down.

Talents:   Being gentle, kindness, being a park dog, helping others.

History:   After he was born, his parents soon found out he loved nothing more then snow and cold. He was fairly normal growing up and loves his family very dearly. As soon as he was old enough to leave his parents, he was adopted by a young couple (Sam + Riley) who just couldn't stand to walk away from him. The wife, Riley, was a park ranger and often took him with her whenever she hikes or sleds out into the wild and found out he loved it very much. Because he has an obedient, logical and gentle personality, he makes a pretty good ranger/ rescue dog. Of course people don't get lost everyday but whenever Riley gets a call that someone is lost, or something is wrong, the pair go out to fix whatever had gone wrong. They don't live in the wild but they Sam and Riley have a cabin that is on the outskirts of town and take a sled team whenever they need to check something out.

     Life is pretty normal for Sam, Riley and Fiske... then one day, a train comes bringing some pretty stuffy English people who have decided they want to live in Alaska (who knows why... just one of those spur-of-the-moment rich people things). Along with them is their dog Flicker, a stuck-up pure bred border collie.

     After getting into a little trouble in the wilderness, Fiske and Flicker do get close, but before anything can happen between them, Flicker and her owners return to England. He's very close with a dog named Saga, but their friendship is too strong to change into anything else. Among the animals in the parks he checks on, a witty wolf named Solo is usually the cause for Fiske and Riley to go on a run to calm things down.
