Personality: Chitto has a fiery and slightly cocky personality. He likes to run off and play, preferring to be free from life in the pack than follow the rules set by his parents. He often goes on 'adventures' and returns to tell his siblings and other wolves who listen about his heroics. These are, of course, just stories he makes up. He likes to fight and is very sneaky and stealthy. He likes to trick others and tease them but is actually quite kind. He also can't handle it if a joke's pulled on him. He enjoys playfighting with Logan, when he'll give in to it, and is a huge mother's boy and likes to snuggle with Dierdre when his siblings aren't around. He also has a bit of a temper and a wild streak.

Likes: Fast running, playing in the firest, dark colours, being in charge, adventures, being babied by Dierdre (tho doesn't ever let his siblings know this), fighting with Logan, Shilah

Dislikes: Being teased, being told off, being ignored, being restricted by curfews, getting sick/injured, his siblings teasing him about being a mama's-boy, being in water

How He Feels About Logan: Doesn't feel too attached to Logan but is close enough to enjoy being in his company. He usually just likes to fight him to prove he's the strongest pup and that he should be the next alpha. It could also be safe to say that Chitto is somewhat afraid of Logan because of his outwards personality and the fact that Chitto secretly worries that he isn't good enough for his father.

How He Feels About Dierdre: Views Dierdre as a saint. He absolutely adores her and loves to be praised and played with by her. He often says she's 'his' mother the most because they are so close and envies the other pups getting any attention from her.

History: Chitto grew up trying to please everyone with his stories to get attention. He loved his mother dearly and enjoyed getting attention from her more than anyone. With her, he didn't have to try to be someone he wasn't and she accepted him for all his faults. He was always somewhat afraid of his father but would never let this show and would try to fight him to prove his worth and to show that he should be the next alpha of the pack. As he grew older, his fighting got more violent as he wanted to prove once and for all that he should lead. In one such fight, he hurt his front leg and severely damaged his pride. He took this injury to have ruined all chances of proving himself to Logan and became depressed and withdrawn while he was healing. He eventually made the decision that life in the pack with his parents and siblings wasn't for him and wanted to leave. As soon as he was fully healed, he snuck away in the middle of the night and roamed around, travelling far away. He soon was found by Shilah, an older wolf who taught him how to be a better hunter. Chitto looked up to him as an older brother and began to follow him around. He lived with Shilah for a while and the two of them called each other brothers. When Chitto was 2, Shilah started to disappear and would spend long periods away. Chitto started to feel left out and suspicious so he followed his brother one night when he left. He soon found out that Shilah had fallen in love with an injured wolfdog and was caring for her. Chitto remembered how his mother cared for him when he was hurt and forgave Shilah for leaving him out. He soon showed himself and the three decided to travel together. A short while after the female, Reid, got well again, she became pregnant with pups. A few months into her pregnancy, Shilah got really ill and it made it hard for them to travel. It didn't help that it was still cold from the end of winter. They cared for him all they could but he still got worse. When a lynx attacked their hidden den, Shilah attacked it to protect his brother and mate. Chitto desperately tried to help but was shooed away by his brother. He watched in horror as his brother was killed and then attacked the lynx himself, killing it in his rage. Chitto and Reid then stayed together, mourning the loss of Shilah. A week later, Reid had her puppies. Three were stillborn and two died shortly after from cold and lack of food from their mother. One remained and Chitto decided they should name him Shilah after his father. Chitto became Reid and Shilah's guardian and soon he fell in love with his brother's mate. Reid felt the same and Chitto eventually convinced her that they should take Shilah and find humans. Along the way, they discovered that Reid was pregnant with Chitto's pups and they were both happy. Although Chitto felt like he'd betrayed Shilah, Reid assured him that Shilah would be proud of him for being strong. Chitto and Reid then lived in the forest, a couple of miles away from the human town of Nome, and raised their four puppies and Shilah Jr together.

Relation to Balto: Travels to Nome and comes into contact with Rosewood, Steele's great-grandaughter, as well as Chester, Dusty and Ralph's son.
