Name: Paxson
Nickname: Pax
Age: Three years older than Jenna
Breed: Siberian Husky
Parents: TBA
Siblings: TBA
Mate: Maisie
Pups: Maverick, Ruby, Jenna, Chayton, Sasha, Ivy
Personality: Paxson is a lot like his daughter Jenna in that he speaks his mind and is very much a go-getter. He is ambitious and doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants. He is a strong leader and is very quick-thinking, but sometimes he can be a bit bossy when leading others. He is very much a gentleman and treats Maisie like a queen, which is part of the reason why Jenna grew up believing in the importance of finding a mate that treats her right. Paxson has a lot of fire to him and always stands up to those who are being wronged, but is very calm, cool, and collected and always remains respectful.
Likes: Maisie, his family, relaxing, bonfires, meat, fresh snow
Dislikes: His second breeder, being a stray, the wilderness, bears, ice, storms
History: Paxson was born to two championship bloodline Siberian Huskies who lived on a breeder farm in Council, Alaska. Paxson himself was kept by the breeder so that he too could produce strong litters of puppies. Paxon enjoyed his time on the farm and was well-liked by all the other huskies. One day, his breeder bought a female husky who Paxson fell in love with at first sight. He made an effort to introduce himself to her, and learned that her name was Maisie. Paxson’s love for Maisie grew, and they spent more and more time with each other, and eventually fell in love. The couple was afraid that they would be bred with other dogs, but the breeder saw how much they loved each other and he allowed them to produce puppies. Paxson and Maisie eventually had six puppies, one of them being Jenna.
However, tragedy struck the breeder farm one day, when the owner passed away unexpectedly. He had no heir, and so the farm was bought by another breeder who’s practices were rather unethical. Paxson and Maisie thus made the difficult choice to escape the farm and take their puppies with them so they wouldn’t wind up with a similar fate. However, escaping wasn’t going to be so easy, because other dogs ran away as well but were always caught by the breeder, who searched through town psychotically in search of his lost dogs. So one day, Paxson and his family left during the night and ran as far as they could, braving the Alaskan wilderness until they reached the town of White Mountain. The family found refuge in the boiler room, and were eventually found by a middle age couple. The couple had known Paxson and Maisie’s old breeder, and recognized the dogs and decided to take them in. Seeing that the dogs ran away prompted the couple to investigate the breeding farm in Council, and eventually they were able to expose the evil breeder and get him arrested for his malicious ways. Jenna and her siblings were adopted at eight weeks old; not all the pups remained in White Mountain, such as Jenna, who was brought to Nome, but all the pups lived relatively close to their parents and thus Paxson and Maisie were able to keep in touch with their children. They remained with the couple who had found them, living the rest of their lives peacefully as house pets.
