Personality: Ellie is very kind and caring, always looking out for those whom she loves. She is very passionate about the things she holds near and dear to her heart, and always stays true to her beliefs. This makes her stubborn, but she is also quite steadfast as a result. She’s more on the quiet side, but is far from anti-social; she’s quite approachable, and once you get to know her you get a loyal friend. She gets drained out after too much social interaction and likes alone time. Ellie can be quite peevish, and she also has a bit of a temper, but it rarely comes out unless you really push her buttons. She can be a tad lazy. She is extremely loyal to those whom she cares about and never turns on them.

Likes: Music, napping, making friends, swimming, nature, sunsets, her friends and family 

Dislikes: Bullies, rude and arrogant people, when people hate on others for differing beliefs

History: Ellie was born in White Mountain to a Siberian Husky mother and a mixed breed father. At eight weeks, she was adopted by a young man who owned a jazz club in Nome and was a prodigal piano player. As a result, Ellie grew up surrounded by music and eventually developed an ear and appreciation for it. She also became friends with Balto’s daughter Kiska, whose owner also performed at the jazz club. Once Kiska joined the mail team, Ellie also befriended Kodi and the other mail dogs, and she, Kiska, and Dusty all became close gal pals. 

    As the girls got older, Kiska and Dusty both found mates of their own, but Ellie was all alone. She felt left out and wanted to know what it felt like to be loved. Eventually, she fell for Ketch, a mutt whose owner was trying to make it as a jazz musician. They met one night when Ketch’s owner had a gig at the jazz club; Ketch and Ellie hit it off almost instantly and Ellie saw a mate in him. However, things went sour rather quickly. Ketch’s owner wasn’t yet the most talented musician, and after a rather disastrous performance, Ellie’s owner told him not to come back. Ketch took this quite personally and took his anger out on Ellie, whom he believed supported her owner’s decision to fire the amateur musician. Ellie was hurt by Ketch’s quick and false assumption, and was heartbroken, never wanting to see Ketch again. However, over time Ketch realized his mistakes and went to apologize to Ellie, who at first wasn’t so quick to forgive. However, after a heart-to-heart talk with Kiska, Ellie realized she shouldn’t be so hard on Ketch, and so she forgave him and gave him a second chance. Eventually, the two became mates and had three puppies.
