Personality: Blythe is very sweet and caring, and hates to see others upset and hurt. She believes strongly in true love and goes to great lengths to make sure the bonds she has with her significant other aren’t broken. She is quite determined and sets out to get what she wants, but at times she can be a bit flighty and helpless. She often thinks before she acts, and in “fight or flight” situations she will more than likely choose “flight.” However, she is very kind and encouraging and enjoys making new friends. She has a big stubborn streak.

History: Blythe was born on a Chinook farm in New Hampshire. She was adopted by a young man who eventually fell on hard times due to the Depression, but the man came up with a plan: move to Nome, Alaska and have Blythe breed with other Chinooks and sled dogs up there so they could make money off of her, since the Chinook was a relatively new and fascinating breed at the time. So, Blythe and her owner left all they had ever known for the Alaskan frontier. One day, Blythe went out to explore her new home, but as the sun started to set, she decided to head home… only to get lost, as she wasn’t familiar with her surroundings yet. A male dog who was walking the streets noticed that Blythe looked lost, and offered to help her find her way home. The kind young mutt introduced himself as Titan, and Blythe was happy to have made her first new friend in Nome. She also became friends with Willow, Kodi and Dusty’s daughter, and supported her dream to be on Nome’s racing team. Eventually, Titan and Blythe started hanging out with each other more often, and they developed feelings for each other. However, complications arose when Blythe’s owner made plans to breed his dog with a male Chinook in town. Blythe was horrified and made the difficult choice to run away from her home. She fled as fast and as far as she could and ended up in a cave on the outskirts of Nome, where she spend the next couple of weeks fending for herself. Eventually, Titan found her, and decided to stay with her for a while and protect her. It was then that the two declared their love for each other and became mates. However, Titan warned Blythe that her owner was looking for her, and that they best return to Nome. So, Blythe reluctantly went back to town, but this time with Titan by her side. Her owner was overjoyed to see Blythe again and in one piece, and he felt terrible about making her breed with a dog she didn’t want to. He saw how much Blythe loved Titan, and after learning Titan was a sled dog, he sold Blythe and Titan’s litters as his way of making money, and everyone was happy.
