Name: Zoey
Age: About four years younger than Kodi and Aleu
Breed: Siberian Husky
Parents: TBA
Siblings: TBA
Mate: Atka
Pups: TBA
Personality: Zoey is very spunky, fiery, and always comes up with the perfect thing to say at the perfect time. She’s very strong-willed and stubborn, and doesn’t really like to ask for help. She likes to poke fun at others, but never means any harm; her intentions are usually pure. She tries to act tough and put on a brave face, but deep down inside she is very romantic and secretly dreams of having a mate one day. Zoey is the kind of dog to know exactly what she wants, but sometimes she is in denial about what it is she desires in life. She’s quite tomboyish but also enjoys some “ladylike” things.
Likes: Nature, running, exercising, baths, her owner, romance, Atka
Dislikes: Bears, ice, landslides, annoying people
History: Zoey was born on a Siberian Husky breeder’s farm and was adopted by a young bachelor living in White Mountain. This man was one of the richest people in this small town, and so Zoey got whatever she wanted growing up. However, she was never a snob about it; in fact, she didn’t like to associate with the other dogs in the rich neighborhood, because she felt many of them were very snooty. The only rich dog she was friends with was a male husky named Healey who was kind, caring, and with whom Zoey shared all her secrets. Zoey lived a pretty normal life until her owner was affected by the Great Depression, and soon lost his job and eventually grew terribly poor. Zoey and her owner felt hopeless until gold was discovered in the wild, and soon they set out to find it.
Out in the wilderness, Zoey met a dog named Atka whose owner was also searching for gold. The two dogs got to know each other, and Zoey eventually developed feelings for Atka, but before she had the chance to tell him, Atka and his owner went back to their home in Nome. Zoey was saddened, but accepted the fact that she would probably never see Atka again, so it didn’t make sense to wallow over him. She moved on and set her sights on her lifelong friend Healy once she and her owner returned to White mountain. Healy also seemed to be into her, but for some reason she just couldn’t feel any chemistry between them. Whenever she tried to force herself to love Healy, she just couldn’t help but picture Atka’s face.
However, her owner was still struggling, and decided to go to Nome in search of a better job. Zoey and Atka were finally reunited, but all of a sudden, Healy and his owner came to Nome as well, and Zoey wasn’t sure where her loyalties lied…
