He is also very street smart and clever, and often uses his quick wit to get himself out of a tight situation.
Likes: His family, the streets, outdoors, running, hanging with his siblings, cheering others up.
Dislikes: His former owner, violence, seeing his loved ones sad or hurt.
---------------------------------
Story: Lenni was the second pup born in Aslak and Felicie's litter. He was adopted at eight weeks old by a young married couple who had recently moved to Alaska from New York, to pursue their dream of bulding a luxorious hotel and become rich. Things were going smoothly, the couple was happily planning their big project and little Lenni was given everything he could ever ask for, and they really did rather spoil him. However, when he reached his teens, problems started brewing. His master had to take a huge loan for building the hotel, but since he was having some trouble paying it back, he soon found himself drowing in debt, and the project kept getting postponed. He even got involved in some criminal activity in order to get the money to repay his debt, and soon his wife left him, which is when he truly hit rock bottom. He became very agressive, and took it all out on poor Lenni, beating him a couple of times and not feeding him for days, and finally, he threw the poor wolfdog out of the house. Alone and helpless, Lenni wandered in the streets when fortunately he ran into his father, Aslak, and his owner. They took him home with them, and he stayed in Aslak's owner's house until he was all grown up and able to fend for himself. Aslak told his son that he could continue to live with them if he wanted to, but after giving it some thought, Lenni decided that he didn't want to live with humans again, even though Mr. Karlsson was nothing like his old master, but he preferred the feeling of freedom and being able to go where ever he wished, whenever he wished, and never knowing what the day would bring. Lenni eventually settled to live in the boat on the beach, where his late great grandfather Balto used to live, and visited his family regularly.
Relation to Balto: Balto and Jenna's great grandson.
