Siblings: Lenni, Erik, Gabrielle, Claudette, Henri

Personality: Rikka is the perfect little lady. She is content with her life as a house pet because of the consistency it brings; she doesn’t like when her routine is broken. She is very tidy and gets all riled up when her routine is broken. She is rather intelligent and extremely well-behaved; partly because she is very much a people pleaser and doesn’t like letting anyone down. She seems a bit snooty when you first meet her, but in reality she is quite nice and is fiercely loyal. She doesn’t like to ruffle anyone’s feathers too much, but she does have somewhat of a temper, though the times she shows it are few and far between.
Likes: Cleanliness, organization, being bathed, being brushed, the beach, sunsets, sleeping
Dislikes: Disorganization, being scolded, betraying others, when her routines are broken
History: Rikka was the first child of Aslak and Felicie, Balto’s granddaughter. Being the eldest, she was like her parents second-in-command and often kept her younger siblings in line. At eight weeks she was adopted by a young girl named Lizzie and her family, who had just moved to Nome from Los Angeles, California. Obviously, moving from sunny California to snowy Alaska was a difficult transition for the entire family, but especially for shy Lizzie who had trouble making friends at school. However, Rikka was Lizzie’s best friend and her companion dog, kind of like how Jenna was with Rosie. However, one day, Lizzie came down with a case of tuberculosis, which was dangerous at the time, and Nome’s hospital did not have the proper medicine for it. So, Lizzie had to be shipped off to a special hospital in Boston which treated TB patients. Rikka was upset to lose her best friend and was terrified for her life, but understood that Lizzie needed to do this in order to get better.
Rikka waited every day for Lizzie to get back, and eventually she grew into a beautiful young wolfdog. A lot of the boy dogs in Nome went after her, and she loved flirting with them, but wasn’t really interested in a mate; she just loved the attention. At this point, she was well adjusted to her life as a house pet and enjoyed her orderly life, despite how uneventful it was. About eight months after Lizzie had been sent to the hospital, she had been cured of TB and was cleared to go home, so Lizzie’s parents took a train to Massachusetts to pick Lizzie up, and they brought Rikka with them. Rikka enjoyed exploring the city; she had never seen anything like it before. And while she was there, she met a dog named Harvey who lived in the area. Harvey swept Rikka off her feet, and while she was in MA, she enjoyed having a little fling with him. However, Rikka had to return home after a couple of days, and while she was sad to leave Harvey, she was overjoyed that her girl was finally home and well. However, she always wondered what became of Harvey…
