History: Quail is one of 3 pups born to Pearl and Titanium.
She was kept by Pearls owners who also kept Opal, from the previous litter. Pearl was reluctant for Quail to meet her dad but she did meet him eventually, along with her grandfather, Steele.

She felt pity for her father when he was being laughed at when he was neutered. Her mum and siblings would tell her not to bother with him as he left her and her sisters shortly after they were born. But due to her optimism, she still wanted to spend time with him.

She often spent time with Balto and Jenna even though they weren't her biological grandparents. They were Opal's grandparents, So they were around a lot.

One time when Steele was telling her about how much of a "hero" he was, he wanted to show her the route he took. But on the way, a bear had been following them and tried to attack. They managed to escape, but Steele was injured.

Quail found her way back to nome and alerted the racing team, who although reluctant at first, due to steeles history, Rescued him.

After that she never went anywhere alone with her grandfather.

Relation to Balto: Is Steele's granddaughter
