Personality: Bia is a very strong-willed, steadfast mutt who likes to do things her own way. She’s very sure of herself and knows exactly what she wants, but sometimes is a little too overconfident in herself and often jumps to things too quickly. She’s rather fiery and always knows exactly what to say at the perfect time. She can get agitated quite easily and finds it difficult to let go of grudges. Despite this, Nia is actually very kind and gentle, and she does have a soft side; she doesn’t like showing it. She is very independent and can function quite well on her own, though she is secretly lonely and longs for a companion. 

Likes: Freedom, the outdoors, nature, swimming, running, howling

Dislikes: Dogs and humans (initially), her father (initially), storms, loudmouths, collars

History: Nia was born to a Wolf mother and a Siberian Husky father as their only child. Sometime before Nia was old enough to remember him, her father left to return to his sled team and owners back in Nome, but Nia never knew this was the reason why he left, and assumed he had ran out on her based on rumors she heard from other wolves in the pack. Thus, she grew up hating her father, as well as all things relating to dogs and human civilization, and she shunned her dog heritage. Unfortunately, her mother was killed by a hunter sometime when Nia was still very young, and she was raised by another wolf in the pack. When she was of age, Nia set out to be on her own and lived as a lone wolf for a while. She didn’t mind being alone, though, and was very confident that she could make it as a lone wolf, although she secretly longed for a companion. One day, she tried to hunt down a rabbit, but it ran out onto the ice. Thinking she could get the rabbit on the frozen lake, Nia make the mistake of jumping onto the lake… and the ice broke beneath her feet. Nia was terrified and thought she would drown, until a wolfdog named Elliot came to save her. Nia was grateful for Elliot’s help, but instantly disregarded him due to the fact that he was obviously part dog and lived among the humans. However, Elliot insisted that she come with him to find shelter so she could warm up after being stuck in the freezing water for so long. Nia reluctantly took up Elliot’s offer and went with him to the boiler room to warm up. She wanted to be left alone, but Elliot didn’t seem to be getting the hint, as he was just asking Nia question after question about what it was like being a wolf. Nia eventually opened up to him, and told him everything, about her life in the wolf pack, and even her father who mysteriously disappeared. It was then that Elliot offered to help Nia find her estranged father. Nia was shocked — had no idea what would come of this, and wondered if Elliot had a trick up his sleeve. But, she figured this would be her only chance to meet her father, and so she and Elliot embarked on a journey together to find him.
