Personality: Strong and brave, Yanez is a faithful friend who is always ready to risk his life for his pack and for the sake of their cause. He fears almost nothing, and would rather choose death over surrending to the enemy. Yanez is a wolf with strong opinions and principals, and he can sometimes be rather prejudiced towards change, but usually it doesn't take long for him to warm up to new things and new people. Yanez also has a bit of a romantic side to him, which he rarely shows to anyone though, and secretly believes in the fact that there's someone for everyone. 

Likes: Una, the pack, running, winter, howling at the moon.

Dislikes: Victor, seeing anyone from his pack hurt or sad, thunder storms.

Story: Yanez was born with two older brothers, Zeke and Hazel, and one few minutes younger twin brother Enzo in a beautful valley, to very loving parents. He and his brothers enjoyed a happy childhood, and were all very close together, but one day, a tragedy struck the family when Yanez and Enzo were playing by a rapid river, and Enzo fell in. Yanez tried his best to save his brother, but the current was too strong and kept pulling him towards the waterfall. By the time their father Zander got to the scene, it was too late, and Enzo went over the fall. They searched for him for hours, but to no avail, and finally, they had no choice but to accept the fact that they'd never see him again. For months, Yanez blamed himself for his brother's death, but with the help of his family, who kept telling him it wasn't his fault, he slowly started to forgive himself.  Life was slowly getting back to normal for the family... However, when Yanez, Zeke and Hazel became adults, things changed, when a wolf known as Victor came to the valley, and took over by blackmailing the residents and forcing them to "work" for him. Yanez, along with his father and brothers stood against Victor, which resulted in his father and brothers getting murdered by Victor's henchmen, and Yanez and his mother Eliza were taken prisoner. One night, Eliza told Yanez that he should sneak out and seek help. Yanez refused to leave her behind, but she promised him that everything was going to be alright. Finally, he agreed, and managed to sneak out of the cave they were being held. However, it wasn't long before his escape was discovered, and Victor's men were after him. They caught up to Yanez, and while he fought bravely, he was still quickly overpowered by the enemy, who gave him a bad beating. Finally, he was lying in the ground covered in bloody bruises and wounds, but just then, when the enemy was about to finish him off, out of nowhere a black wolf appeared, and single handedly fought off Victor's henchmen. A badly wounded Yanez saw the enemy wolves run away with their tails between their legs, then his head dropped to the ground and he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he found he was lying in a cave, with the same black wolf sitting by his side. The wolf, who introduced himself as Kuro, told him that he had been there for two days, and Yanez expressed his gratitude for saving his life. Yanez told his story to Kuro, who revealed that they were aware of Victor and his dictatorship, and were planning to gather a group of fighters to get rid of him. Yanez was immidietally willing to join him, and the two became good friends, Yanez swore he would follow Kuro anywhere and decicaded his whole life to their cause. Eventually, the war-torn and traumatized Yanez came across the most beautiful creature he'd ever laid eyes on: a female wolf called Una. However, due to his tragic past and all the horrors he'd witnessed, it was very hard for Yanez to allow himself to even admit his feelings for Una, for he feared he'd eventually loose her as well. She was remarkably patient, though, and while she couldn't relate to all he'd been through, she did her best to hep him deal with all those things, and offered a listening ear, and a shoulder, whenever he needed one. Slowly, with Una's help, Yanez's soul was begin to heal - he fell more deeply in love with her, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, he was happy again, so, they finally declared their feelings for each other, and became mates.
