Personality: Rocky is a fellow who truly knows his responsibilities, and is very protective towards his younger siblings and anyone he cares about, even if sometimes his protectiveness tends to go a little overboard, but his family knows that he always has good intentions. He is a hard worker, and like his father, he takes his job very seriously and has great pride about what he does, but if things don't always work out the way he wanted them to, he tends to be way too hard on himself and beat himself up for a good while. Rocky is kind and brave, and always accepts others for the way they are, and is therefore a very likable fellow.

Likes: His family, helping others, playing with children, sleeping in front of a fireplace.

Dislikes: Failing at his job, water, bullies, seeing anyone upset or hurt.

Story: Rocky was the first born in Kodi and Meri's litter of four. Ever since they were pups, he showed a great sense of responsibility and was always looking out for his siblings, and often appeared as too overprotective towards them. He was close with all his siblings, but particularly with his only sister Juniper, who he was best pals with. From a young age, Rocky felt like he wanted to have a job with a purpose, like his father Kodi, and he did idolize his father a lot. But since he soon noticed that sledding wasn't really his thing, he wondered what else it could possibly be. One day, his grandfather Balto took the young pup to visit his brother, Rocky's great uncle Aku, who told stories about his career as a rescue dog, and revealed that they were planning to train a successor to him, as he was about to retire. Rocky was very fascinated by his uncle's stories, and realized that that's what he wanted to be: a rescue dog. So, as soon as he was of age, his training began, and it wasn't long before he took Aku's place. However, his first rescue mission didn't really go well at all, when a young boy had fallen through ice into the water and Rocky tried to pull him out, but he ended up slipping from his grip and going under the surface, leaving Rocky with only his glove in his teeth. Rocky dived after the boy, but he was sinking fast, and the water was too freezing, yet still he continued to try and reach the boy. Finally, everything went black, and the next time Rocky opened his eyes, he was lying on a pillow under a warm blanket in the boiler room, with his parents, grandfather and Aku sitting by his side. The gave him the sad news that the boy had not survived, and these news absolutely crushed Rocky. He broke into tears, his mother hugged him and everyone tried to assume that it wasn't his fault, but Rocky couldn't help but blame himself for the boy's death. He was deeply depressed for a while, and felt he didn't deserve the title of a rescue dog, but with the love and support from his family, particularly his sister and uncle, he was slowly coming out of it and getting back to his feet, swearing that he would never loose a life again and was now more determined than ever.
