Personality: Aslak is a very shy and timid young wolfdog, who has a very low self confidence and doesn't really think much of himself. However, all of this is put aside whenever someone he cares about is in danger, and for his loved ones he's even ready to risk his life. Aslak always puts everyone else's needs ahead of his own, he's very kind and a great listener, but often times tends to forget about his own feelings, and kinda just bottles them inside, pretending that everything is alright, even if this wasn't the case.

Likes: Felicie, his pups, summer, winter, the northern lights, his owner.

Dislikes: Fighting, violence of any kind, rain and thunder, bullies.

Story: Aslak was born very far from Nome: In Lapland, the northern part of Finland. He was the result of a fling between a pure breed Lapponian herder and a wolfdog. When the owners of his mother, the purebreed Lapponian, discovered this, they were shocked, and feared that if word got out that she had a pup with a wolfdog, it would damage their reputation. So, one night, they tossed him in a bag and threw the bag in a river. A teenage boy found him and got him out just in time, and snug the pup to his house. He hid him in the basement, but it wasn't  long until his parents discovered he was hiding a wolfdog pup. After seeing how attacthed their son was to this pup, they decided to allow him to stay. So, Aslak grew up to a healthy adult, and became the best of friends with the boy who saved his life. As his owner reached his early 20's, he decided to leave for Alaska to find gold, but didn't want to leave Aslak behind (nor did Aslak want to leave his side), so he took him with him. They set sail, and during the long voyage, Aslak befriended some British dogs who taught him some English, but when they arrived in the town of Nome, his English was still very broken and not very good, which caused him to being mocked by the local dogs. His owner bought a small house with a nice yard, and allowed Aslak to roam freely in the streets of Nome, but he soon found that it would not be easy to fit in. He often got into quarrels with the other dogs, due to the language barrier and misunderstandings, and one time, he almost got himself involved in a fight, when a group of bullies cornered him. But then, a female dog around his age appeared to scene, telling the bullies to back off, revealing that some of them were from the same sled team as her. Aslak fell for her at the very first sight; she was beautiful and confident, and also the first friendly face he had encountered since his arrival in Nome. She introduced herself as Felicie, and Aslak soon learned that she was the granddaughter of the famous Balto. Despite the language barrier, they became fast friends, Felicie took Aslak for walks around the town and showed him around, and even gave him some more in depth-English lessons. His feelings for her deepened every moment he spent with her, but he was just too afraid to tell her how he felt. One day, as Aslak was walking on the edge of the town, a smell of smoke caught his nose, and he was shocked to learn that the house that Felicie and her team mates lived in, was in flames - with the dogs trapped inside. Immidietally, without hesitation Aslak  jumped inside, right in the middle of the flames, making sure that everyone got out, Felicie wanted to wait for him but he insisted that she followed them, assuring her that he'd be right behind them. But just then, a piece of the ceiling came down, knocking him unconscious. Firefighters arrived to the scene, and got Aslak out just in time, but unfortunately, the hit in the head and breathing a large amount of smoke caused him to fall into a coma. Finally, 4 days later he awoke, and found that his beloved Felicie had been staying by his side all that time. She didn't hide her relief that he had survived, and her team mates that had bullied him earlier, apologized to him and expressed their gratitude for saving their lives, and from that on, Aslak became good friends with the entire sled team. Finally, he and Felicie became mates, and had 6 pups together.
