History: Miluk was the third child of Hotah and Nayeli. Growing up, she was extremely shy and hardly talked to anyone, preferring to hide behind her mother when anyone attempted to socialize with her. Her parents were concerned that she would be too quiet, but Miluk was happy. She was close with her cousin Winona, as well as a wolf her age in the pack named Amak.
As Miluk grew up, she and Amak became best friends. Amak was a cheerful wolf who loved a good adventure, and Miluk would usually just tag along with him. However, one day, Miluk and Amak were exploring a river, when suddenly Amak fell into the raging current. Miluk tried to help, but it was of no avail, and Amak sadly drowned. Miluk was devastated to lose her best friend, and felt it was her fault that he died. She fell into a deep depression and wouldn’t speak to anyone, not even Winona. However, she did feel a little better after her uncle Qiviut, who had also lost his best friend, helped convince her that it wasn’t her fault, that these sort of things just happen, as sad as they are. Miluk felt a little more at peace and slowly but surely began opening up to everyone again, but she still missed Amak greatly. However, on one fateful day, a wolf came to visit Miluk in her den… it was Amak! He had miraculously survived by grasping onto a rock and making his way back to pack territory. It was truly a miracle, and Miluk was overjoyed to have her best friend back with her again.
