(Old art, needs to be redrawn)

Angel is one of Balto's half-siblings from a little prior to his own.

She is much bigger and broader than Balto, looking much more wolf-like in silhouette other than her tail - which curls toward her back like a husky.

From afar, she can look very frightening but Angel is incredibly soft and kind. She has a paternal personality and love to help out any lost children or pups. Long before Balto's triumph with the medicine - Angel began to show herself. First it was through rumors - children would get lost in Nome's surrounding wilderness and then suddenly reappear - claiming that a large creature helped to guide them back toward the town.
Then, when a child was injured out in the wilderness - she appeared, guiding the child's parents to where they were as she was unable to help.

Angel is the name given to her by the people of Nome as she becomes known as the town cryptid, helping to bring children home.

She and Balto have never met, though she is aware of his existence (he is not aware of her). After the medicine run, she stops appearing altogether.
