Personality: Kira is very sweet and bubbly. She’s nice to just about anyone, even those who she doesn’t like. She’s very excitable and loves to have fun. She’s curious and likes to learn and try new things. Kira can be outspoken, especially about things she believes in. She can be a bit of a doormat and doesn’t really know how to say no. She’s just afraid of hurting people’s feelings in that regard. She can be a bit pup-like.

History: Kira was born to two purebred American Akitas. She didn’t have the type of character needed to be a sled dog, so she just became a house pet instead, a job she was more than happy to have. She served as a companion for the young boy and girl of the family and was a loyal pet. One day, she met Kirby, a sled dog working on Nome’s mail team. She enjoyed his charming and funny personality, but he didn’t seem all that interested in her. Dusty, Kirby’s friend and teammate, decided to help Kira out by playing matchmaker, and she successfully set up the two dogs together. Kira and Kirby hit it off pretty well and ended up being mates, and soon Kira gave birth to a litter of puppies. She remained good friends with Dusty, and became friends with the other dogs on the mail team as well.
