He also is a bit of a jokester and has a witty sense of humor.

History: Togo was born in the wilderness near Nome to a husky named Barrow and a wolf named Aniu. He was the eldest sibling, and had two younger brothers named Fritz and Balto. Unfortunately, Barrow was forced to leave with his sled team before Togo and his brothers were born, so Togo grew up fatherless. Aniu wanted to leave her pack and meet Barrow in his hometown of Elim so that the family could be reunited, and also because her pack would kill the pups if anyone found out she had mated with a dog. So, Aniu headed off to Elim with her three sons, but at some point during a snowstorm, Balto got separated from the group. Aniu was devastated, thinking perhaps Balto died, and continued on with her two older sons. She made it to Elim but never met up with Barrow there, as he was sold off to a team in Koyuk before she arrived. When it finally hit Aniu that Barrow was nowhere to be seen, she made the painful choice to leave Togo and Fritz at someone’s doorstep, knowing they needed to live a life of their own rather than constantly follow Aniu around as she searched for her mate.
The person whose doorstep the pups were left in front of happened to be a musher, although he was not the same musher as the one Barrow had. Seeing the two shivering puppies at his doorstep tugged at his heartstrings and he brought Togo and Fritz in to help them warm up. Seeing how fast the pups returned to their normal state, the musher believed they would make good sled dogs one day. So, as Togo and Fritz got older, the musher trained them in hopes that one day they could be a part of his racing team. Once they hit one year old, both Togo and Fritz got a spot on the team and helped their team to win many championships. Togo in particular was a very skilled racer, partly due to his wolfish build, and eventually took the role of lead dog. His victories caught they eye of Fox, a female husky in town, but Togo wasn’t particularly interested in her. He was more interested in Tillie, a dog on his team, and thus didn’t really give Fox the time of day. But Togo found out that Tillie had no interest in him — she actually liked his brother Fritz! So, Togo moved on from Tillie and decided it wouldn’t hurt to give Fox a chance. He decided to start talking to her, and found that she was actually quite nice. He regretted not getting to know her sooner, but figured this could be a fresh start for them. Eventually, they became mates, and Fox gave birth to four puppies not long after.
Togo loved his puppies, but couldn’t help but feel sad whenever he saw them. It took him a while to figure out why, but then he realized it was because he never had a father of his own. He never really got a proper explanation from his mother growing up about what happened to his father, so really the only thing he knew about Barrow was his name and that he was a husky. However, one day, Barrow came to Elim on a small sledding trip, and Togo was finally able to meet his father. Togo was overjoyed that he could finally meet his father and finally understand why he made the ultimate sacrifice to leave his family. Barrow had done it out of love, and it only made Togo admire his father more. He was happy to have finally gotten closure with his father. Not too long after, Togo and Fritz's team made it to the finals of an all-Alaska championship race, and they ran into Balto, whose team made it to the finals as well. Togo and Fritz were shocked to see their youngest brother, who they thought had died long ago. But the three brothers instantly rejoiced at seeing each other, happy that their family was together again.
