Story: When Casey was born, he had a strong relationship with his parents, and his father’s owner’s brother, bout him. His new owner, Bill, was a bear hunter. Bill had another hunting-dog named Dexter. Casey was taught by Bill and Dexter, and soon he was a terrific hunter.
On his first real bear-hunt, he did amazing. Soon he tracked one down, and fought it (with Dexter helping). He bit and tore at it. The bear slashed him on the leg, face, and chest. Casey was badly hurt, but he kept going. Dexter was hit to the side, and knocked out. Bill hadn’t arrived yet, and Casey was in trouble. The bear picked him up and was about to Tara him apart when the White Wolf came in and attacked the bear. Casey went flying to the side, and watched in astonishment as the White Wolf fought the bear back. Soon she had knocked it out and walked over to Casey. She helped him up and told him “never tell anyone.” And she disappeared. Bill came running up and helped Casey. He shot the bear, and carried Dexter home.
That night, Casey sat in the backyard. Dexter was asleep. Then the White Wolf appeared. “Thank you, White Wolf.” He said. The White Wolf patted him on the sholder, and disappeared again.
