She can be a bit of a daredevil and has a mischievous side, though she is protective of others and tries to talk them out of making their own bad decisions. She’s very clever and can quickly think her way through a situation. She’s very sweet and is fiercely loyal. She sometimes gets a bit self-centered, but not in a selfish way. She just forgets to turn on her radar and take other people into consideration when making a decision. She is very much a free spirit and can be outspoken about things she believes in.

History: Spica was the third pup of Kiska and Tungsten’s litter. At eight weeks, she was adopted by a family of three with had an eight-year-old girl named Julie who loved Spica to no end. Spica and Julie shared a close bond, similar to the one Jenna had with Rosie — Spica always looked out for Julie, would follow her around, and even pull her on a wooden sled. She was the only pup in her litter who wasn’t strong enough to pull a real sled, but she didn’t mind; pulling Julie’s little sled and making the girl happy was good enough for her. She also loved to explore and go on adventures.
As Spica got older, she never really got rid of her pup-like sense of adventure. Sometimes this would lead her into scrapes, but she always turned out fine in the end. One day, when Spica was around one and a half, her grandfather Steele returned to Nome with the intention of killing Kiska since she ruined his bloodline with her “wolf blood.” What was worse was that at this time, Kiska was carrying her second litter. Spica felt a bit helpless since she wasn’t as strong or fast as her other siblings and therefore couldn't really protect Kiska, but she realized she could use her clever mind to help her family come up with a way to protect Kiska and drive Steele out of town once and for all. Eventually, Balto and Jenna chased Steele away, and the evil husky never stepped foot in Nome again.
A couple weeks after the incident with Steele, Kiska gave birth to her second litter. Spica instantly fell in love with her new brothers and sisters and offered to babysit any chance she got. She loved teaching her young siblings the ways of the world and watching them grow and find themselves in the world. It was during this time when Spica realized she wanted pups of her own, and made the decision to hold back on her daring ways so she could settle down and start a family. However, she always retained an adventurous spirit.
Relation to Balto: Balto’s granddaughter
